Sweet Furikake Salmon

The 20-minute meal you never knew you needed! if you love furikake and salmon, this is the meal for you. I love making these on the days when time is as tight as it can be. This Sweet Furikake Salmon recipe is only 4 ingredients and will be your go-to salmon recipe!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Salmon Fillets fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 Cup Mayo kewpie works best but any is fine!
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar or any sweetener of choice
  • Furikake as much as your heart desires
  • Salt to taste, but OPTIONAL as the mayo has salt already

Instructions
 

Air fryer Method

  • Pat dry your salmon fillets with a paper towel and salt to your preference then set aside.
  • In a small bowl, mix in your mayo and sugar really well and scoop an even amount on each salmon fillet on top. Spread so that the top of each salmon is covered in the mayo mixture.
  • Sprinkle your furikake on top generously then place it in the air fryer.
  • Cook at 400F for 10-15 minutes or until the top is nice and golden brown.
  • Serve on a bed of hot white rice and any veggies or salad you have at home and enjoy!

Oven Method

  • Preheat your oven to 400F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Follow steps 1-3 but instead of placing the salmon into the air fryer, place your salmon onto your baking sheet on top of the parchment paper and space it apart evenly.
  • Cook at 400F for 20-25 minutes or until the top is nice and golden brown.
  • Serve on a bed of hot white rice and any veggies or salad you have at home and enjoy!
