Wash and cut your asparagus and ensure that they are dry. Place the asparagus in a baking dish.
Combine your melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper and onion powder in a separate bowl and pour asparagus. Mix everything together until each asparagus piece is coated in the mixture.
Squeeze fresh lemon before placing in the oven for 10 minutes at 400 F.
You can either grate the cheese on top after baking OR grate it on top before baking.
Plate, serve and enjoy!
