Chocolatey Candy Cane Cookies

Chocolatey Candy Cane Cookies made with a cake mix give you a delicious dessert everyone will love. With just four ingredients, these easy Christmas cookies are perfect for last-minute holiday parties or cookie exchanges.

Ingredients
  

  • Boxed Chocolate Cake Mix
  • Crushed Candy Canes
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil or any neutral oil of choice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375 F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
  • Mix everything in a bowl, no specific order but I usually do eggs, oil, cake mix then candy canes once everything is in! (Save a few crushed candy canes on the side)
  • Roll the finished mix into desired-sized balls
  • Place cookies on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper at least 2 inches apart and flatten them out
  • Add a generous amount of the leftover crushed candy canes on top of each cookie
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cookies are light brown on the edges
  • Let cool and enjoy or wrap them up and share with others
