Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and get a large baking tray or dish.
Slice your bacon strips in half the long way so essentially you will end up with 2 thin strips of bacon.
Wrap each piece of asparagus with a thin bacon strip and place it onto the baking dish. Be sure to lay each bacon wrapped asparagus flat and not on top of each other.
Once all your asparagus is laid flat on the baking tray, sprinkle you garlic powder, brown sugar and pepper evenly across all pieces.
Place tray in the oven for 35-45 minutes or until the bacon is to your desired doneness level. I love mine as crispy as it can get!
