Pumpkin Cream Cheese Hand Pies

These Pumpkin Cream Cheese Hand Pies are the ultimate Fall dessert! The maple syrup and brown sugar with cream cheese makes it the perfect sweet and savoury hand pie! These pies are perfect for individual consumption and looks great on any Thanksgiving dessert bar!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Package Pre-made Pie Crust 2 sheets
  • 3 Tbsp Pumpkin Pie Filling canned
  • 2 Tbsp Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup

Optional - Egg Wash (to brush on top)

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbsp Cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400 F or 200 C. Roll out parchment paper or butter onto a baking sheet.
  • In a medium sized bowl, add in your pumpkin pie filling, cream cheese, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, brown sugar and maple syrup. Combine and mix all together and set aside.
  • Roll out pie crusts and use a pumpkin cookie cutter If you use the Pillsbury brand, you can cut out 10 pieces.
  • Lay the pie crust pumpkins about an inch apart and scoop out 2 tbsp of the pumpkin cream cheese mixture to the middle of each pumpkin.
  • Once you've added filling to each circle.Add the pie crust on top and fork the sides all around together.
  • Cut an x on top and brush with egg wash. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
