We all have those friends and family members (especially as adults) who just love their kitchen. Me. I am one of those people. My kitchen is a form of self-care to me and I adore it. I always love finding the best new kitchen equipment and appliances and dreaming of the day where I can purchase what my heart desires.

Until then, I’ll have to resort to just getting big kitchen gifts for a special occasion and buying some kitchen gadgets here and there.

Do you love buying things for your kitchen? What’s your favourite kitchen gadget? let me know below!

Kitchen things can definitely add up depending on what you’re stocking upon. For me, I am passionate about cooking and am almost always willing to make the investment as long as I know it’ll make my cooking and life easier to navigate.

Once I started really adulting it just clicked in my brain that I am okay with getting gifted kitchen things instead of my gifts as a teenager like clothes, makeup and other fun things. I also have lots of family and friends who love cooking as well so I often am looking for the best kitchen gadget and decor to gift to myself or others!

Do you have a lot of people in your life who are passionate about their kitchen and/or cooking? What are you getting them for Christmas? I’d love to know in the comments below!

HERE ARE 20 GIFT IDEAS FOR THE ULTIMATE KITCHEN LOVER:

Kitchenaid

AH, I know. I know. I started off with probably the most expensive item but it’s definitely for good reasons! I finally took the leap and purchased a Kitchenaid Standup Mixer for my birthday this year and I’m obsessed with it! I have the Frosted White Pearl which I linked here:

Oil Dispenser

These have been on my list for the longest time! This is awesome if you like infused your oil too. I love making garlic-infused olive oil and storing it.

Wood Serving Trays

If you know, you know! Food being served on wood boards is all the hype. Anyone would appreciate a gorgeous wood board to add into their kitchen or even as home decor!

Hand Blender

If you love foods with lots of sauce or even a big ole hearty soup, hand blenders are amazing. They often save you a whole lot of mess and are quite easy to wash!

Kitchen Towels

Kitchen towels are some of my fav things for Food Styling and I often add a few every few months especially when I cook a lot in the kitchen and they get a little tattered up. Kitchen towels really set the mood for your kitchen and are quite affordable and very easy to gift!

Apron

I am so so guilty of not wearing an apron when I cook but they are so handy in saving your clothes! I often cook and get splattered with bubbling sauces. Aprons are like kitchen towels in which they are quite affordable and easy to gift!

Dutch Oven

If you follow me on any social media platforms, you’d know how much I preach about my dutch oven! Now, dutch ovens are a bit pricey but depending on who you’re gifting it for, it is perfect and practical. You could also find fairly priced ones too! The one I have at home is an Amazon Basics White Dutch Oven and I use it all the time!

Baking Trays

Baking trays last quite a long time and can luckily be salvaged for the most part but it doesn’t hurt to get a few more especially if you’re gifting it to a baker! It’s super helpful if you do a lot of holiday/seasonal baking.

Cook Books

Oh my, is it bad to say that I have yet to own a cookbook? I’m definitely putting some on my Christmas list this year but I usually just look online! I know that some people just love having a physical book at home and use it to decorate their kitchen as well!

Glass Food Containers

If you’ve got loved ones who have a gorgeous aesthetic kitchen space, displaying wood glass containers is the gift for them! Glass containers have been getting more popular and people have been buying Etsy labels as well for them to make them look extra pretty!

Kitchen Utensils

Although kitchen utensils are pretty sturdy and last for years, it’s never a bad idea to swap them out for fresh ones! Wood absorbs oil, water and lots of liquid substances and although we clean them and wash them, they are never fully clean.

Waffle Maker

Fresh waffles are amazing thanks to a handy dandy waffle maker! You don’t need to just order waffles at a restaurant or settle for pancakes. Add a waffle maker to your batch of kitchen equipment!

Measuring Cups

I currently have 2 sets of measuring cups at home and I use them all, all the time! You really can never have too many measuring cups especially if you love hosting often and cooking a big batch of food. Also, they look so pretty in food photos!

Teapot

If you love drinking hot teas, coffees and hot chocolate, a kettle is your best friend! I prefer the electric ones as you can just plug them in but the stovetop ones are really nice too. They also look great to just leave on the counter too as decor!

Spice Rack

I am going to be the first to say, my spices are literally all over the place! I love making my food so flavourful and it’s crazy that I have yet to arrange everything. I was gifted a spice rack for Christmas 2 years ago but then I packed it on my last move and accidentally dropped it and shattered all the glass containers so I’m due for a new one!

Knife Set

I have been saving for an amazing knife set to purchase and my knives are admittedly very dull and old now. Knife sets are great for people who have just moved out and don’t have much in their home yet!

Continue reading 20 Gift Ideas for the Ultimate Kitchen Lover…

Airfryer

I unashamedly used my air fryer every single day! I don’t have a toaster so I actually use it to cook food as well as do very simple things like toast my bread in the mornings! I stand by my air fryer and I’m obsessed with it! I love crunchy food and knowing that I can achieve this without oil, makes me so happy!

Wine Glasses

Are you a wine lover or have loved wines who are? An assortment of wine glasses is beautiful to have in your home and so awesome to take out when you have guests over!

Thermometer

Okay, I used to be so scared of dealing with raw meat and serving it to guests! Especially if it’s like a big chunk of meat like a beef roast, roast chicken, turkey etc. It’s always so helpful to insert a thermometer and let it tell you when the dish is ready and fully cooked!

Vegetable Chopper

Last but not least, super super convenient to have in the kitchen, a vegetable chopper! If you get onion tears often or just feel like vegetable prep takes a long time, these babies will save you lots of time and effort!

All in all, I cannot stress this enough if you are planning on gifting someone, just ask what they want! As much as we think we know what people want, sometimes we don’t and we end up buying things that people don’t need and it just ends up collecting dust in the corner.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post on 20 Gift Ideas for the Ultimate Kitchen Lover! This list as always was super fun to make and I absolutely LOVED shopping around and seeing what I’m buying for Christmas this year!

I’m so excited to be fully swinging in everything Christmas soon and to be wrapping gifts and truly experiencing the magic of Christmas!

What is your favourite item from this list of 20 Gift Ideas for the Ultimate Kitchen Lover? I’d love to know!

Lynn

Glass or see-through containers are a must!! They are perfect for organizing and make perfect gifts. As someone who loves to bake, the Kitchen Aid stand mixer is obviously on my list, hopefully one day I’ll get one lol
Thanks for sharing this gift list, Lynn!

My sister is currently getting an extension built for her kitchen, which will hopefully be done in time for Christmas, so this blog post came at the right time! She is passionate about cooking, which means she’ll love some of these gift ideas.

The oil dispenser is now on my list! Wood serving trays and hand blenders are a must, they are already in my kitchen, and we have put them to so much use. Glass food containers are such a good idea, as is a good knife set. We have the Ninja Airfryer, and it cuts cooking time in half sometimes. My partner absolutely loves it and tells everyone about it.

A vegetable chopper is such a good idea, and that’s going on my list as well. Thank you for sharing all these ideas. I think I will do what you say, and ask my sister what she wants first, and will suggest some of these ideas. 😊

We always exchange kitchen gifts with our neighbours during festivals. They are Hindus and we are Christians but we celebrate all festivals. Small or big, kitchen gifts are always a great way to connect to neighbours and relatives. 😃

I think I need to add about half of these to my wishlist now 😍 I’m just like you, I love cooking and baking, so these are all essentials. Bookmarking your post to make sure I still find it when I actually need to put together my Christmas list!

Love this list! My brother loves to cook and sometimes I get stumped on what to get him (we don’t talk so I just know little things about him here and there lol), this is gonna be super helpful!

I have an air fryer but I haven’t spent too much time with it other than air frying things that can go in the stove. I hate pre-heating the oven lol.
