Mulan's Breakfast Rice Porridge
Mulan's Breakfast Rice Porridge is the perfect filling and savoury breakfast! Eggs, bacon and rice?! What an excellent combo to have for any meal!

- 2 Eggs
- 2-4 Bacon Slices
- 1 1/2 Cups Cooked Rice
- 3 Cups Water
- 1 Tbsp Chicken Bouillon
- 2 Garlic Cloves minced
- 1 Tsp Olive Oil
- Salt to taste
Cooking the Rice Porridge
Turn your stove on medium-high and in a small saucepot, add in your cooked rice, chicken bouillon, minced garlic cloves and half of your water.
Let the rice breakdown in the water and once the water starts absorbing, add in water little at a time.
Once your rice porridge has reached its mushy consistency, you can add in salt to your liking and leave to cool.
Baking the Bacon
Preheat your oven to 400F.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place your bacon strips in a curl shape like a smile.
Bake the bacon for about 20-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy and set aside to cool.
Frying up the Eggs
Turn your stove on medium-high and in a small frying pan, add in your olive oil and heat it up.
Crack your eggs and fry them up the way you like them.
