HERE IS HOW TO MAKE A CRANBERRY BRIE TURKEY SANDWICH:
WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients to make this delicious sandwich can be found at most grocery stores in North America! I’m unsure if other countries would have everything I used in this sandwich readily available, but you can also follow my suggestions below to make substitutions to this recipe!
You can get canned cranberry sauce and mayonnaise from the pantry aisle of the grocery store, brie and turkey from the deli section, pear and arugula from the produce section and, of course, some yummy fresh ciabatta bread from the bakery section!
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients to make this sandwich are:
- Cranberry Sauce
- Brie
- Turkey Slices
- Ciabatta Bun
- Pear
- Arugula
- Mayo
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
You don’t need any equipment aside from what you already have at home! If you’re a sandwich connoisseur like I am, you already have sandwich equipment, haha! Honestly, a serrated knife and a wooden cutting board are all I would really need. A serrated knife changed me cutting bread! I used to struggle with a regular knife 😂
Here are a few of my favourite kitchen items from Amazon! I have an old Instant Pot, so I don’t think it’s selling anymore, but this is the closest one to what I have!
CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?
Since this is just my sandwich recipe, you would totally add or remove what you’d like to make this sandwich your own! If you could keep the cranberry sauce, brie, and turkey slices, that is the star of the show! Anything else, you can swap out!
Here are some ideas you can use to alter this delicious sandwich recipe!
- Adding pesto, BBQ or chipotle sauce for more flavour
- Adding some avocado for creaminess
- Adding some bacon for a smoky and meaty addition
- Adding some fresh tomatoes, lettuce, or spinach
- Adding pickles or pickled onions for a tangy crunch
WHAT DOES A CRANBERRY BRIE TURKEY SANDWICH TASTE LIKE?
This Cranberry Brie Turkey Sandwich is the ultimate blend of sweet, savoury, and creamy! Layers of tender turkey, melty brie, and tangy cranberry sauce come together between hearty bread for a cozy, gourmet twist. The perfect sandwich as we transition from Summer to Fall. As I’m writing up this recipe, I’m already patiently waiting to eat this again!
HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?
I would recommend making this sandwich fresh for the best texture, of course! However, I did make this sandwich, then only ate half and stored the rest in the fridge, and air fried it the next day, and it was still delicious! The arugula and pear were a bit warm and wilted, so that was strange haha, but if you don’t mind, you will be able to meal prep this! You can also enjoy this sandwich cold too! I love melted brie so I don’t think I’ll ever have this cold 😉
INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?
This is almost my dream sandwich, hahaha I LOVE THANKSGIVING DINNER and wish I could eat it all the time. This sandwich reminds me of it! It’s just missing some gravy and stuffing, and my oh my, it would be my literal dream sandwich. Thanksgiving all year long is my inspo for this beauty!
ANY OTHER NOTES?
