HERE ARE TIPS ON HOW TO STAY ORGANIZED DURING THE HOLIDAYS:

Prioritize What Needs To Be Sent Out First

If your family does annual family christmas cards, be sure to order those as soon as you can. Generally, holiday cards are sent out before Christmas to all your friends and family that you may not get a chance to see. Sending a holiday card is the perfect way to kickstart your holiday season and an easy enough task to tick off!

Some sweet features that Basic Invite cards offer are:

Almost Unlimited Colors- Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once they select a design, customers can change the color of each element on the card. With over 180 colors to choose from, the invite is sure to be exactly how they want it. This is what sets us apart from almost any other online stationery company.

Custom Samples- Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers to order a printed sample of their actual invitation before they place their final order. They can see the paper quality and how it will print, and make sure the card is perfect.

Over 40 Different Colors of Envelopes- Basic Invite has over 40 different envelope colors to choose from. With so many options, customers can make their envelope match the invitation. All of the envelopes are peeled and sealed so they can be closed quickly and securely.

Address Capturing Service- Basic Invite offers an address-capturing service that allows customers to share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media to request their friends and family’s addresses. The addresses are stored in the customer’s account and can be selected during the design process. Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all card orders.

Foil- Foil cards are available in gold, silver, and rose gold. Customers can choose flat or raised foil on all of Basic Invite’s foil designs.

Right now Basic Invite is offering 15% off with coupon code: 15FF51. Get your holiday cards ordered ASAP!

In addition to that, if you’re sending out parcels or gifts to family that live far away, get them done sooner rather than later to ensure that they receive their gifts come Christmas day!

Plan Out What Holiday Activities You’re Attending

During this time, most towns and cities are decked out with Christmas lights and fun seasonal activities! If you’re like me and want to try and get to everything, it can get 1. overwhelming 2. expensive real quick! Be sure to plan out exactly what you want to attend early on and don’t be afraid to leave days that are blank so that you can be cozy at home!

You’ll thank yourself later for balancing downtime and fun times!

Make A Budget

I know this sounds super straightforward but trust me when I say that EVERY retailer will be maximizing their marketing strategies to get you to add more to your cart. Never go completely broke just for the holidays. Remember that although gift-giving and opening are very fun, there is so much more that makes the holiday season magical. Gifts are never mandatory and it’s truly the thought that counts.

In recent years, my family has stepped away from gift-giving and just bought expensive games, activities, food, and drinks instead to enjoy together. We still splurge on the kiddos in the family but for the adults, we prefer just the company and quality time!

Budget roughly how much you want to aim to spend on each person you’re gifting plus all the drinks and food that you’ll be making and bringing to gatherings. Shop the sales as much as you can and create a menu revolving around that instead.

Keep Things On Hand In A Bin

I find that during the holidays, I’m misplacing things left and right. A great idea that I have been doing for a while is keeping a handy bin of miscellaneous things! I like to keep one in the car and one at home but things like a small sewing kit in case your outfit rips, tape, scissors, snacks, an extra gift card/cards, pens, sharpies, matches, chapstick, lotion etc.

Whatever you feel like you use the most or would be thankful to have if an unexpected situation arises, add it to the bin! It’s so great to keep around in case you’re in a rush or when a button falls out right when you’re outside a friend’s house for a big Christmas dinner!

Thank you for reading How To Stay Organized During The Holidays! These tips have always kept me going during the holidays and I’m happy to be sharing them with you! I hope you have a lovely and cozy holiday season!

Lynn
