11 Easy Fall Cocktails

*This post may contain affiliate or sponsored links, which means I may get paid or receive a commission if you purchase through my link, at no extra cost to you!*

Read more for all the details on 11 Easy Fall Cocktails.

It’s that time of year where Summer has passed and so has the Summer produce! In the summer, we are blessed with gets lots of berries, stone fruits like peaches, sweet corn and herbs but of course, the season changes and so does the produce that’s available for harvest!

Fall flavours are definitely more robust and unfortunately aren’t as abundant as Summer produce! Popular Fall fruits include apples, cranberries, grapes, pears, and persimmon! I mean pumpkins too if you want to get into a debate with me on whether it’s a fruit or a vegetable! I find it more of a vegetable but I know that technically, it is a fruit.

Aside from the Fall produce, there’s also a lot of different flavours associated with Fall such as pumpkin pie spice, apple pie spice, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom caramel, pecan, and maple syrup to name a few.

What’s your favourite Fall flavour? Do you enjoy Fall harvest produce? I’d love to know in the comments!

Although I don’t have a ton of friends, I have lots of cousins and other family members who are roughly around the same age that I hang out with. We often do a girl’s night and have an arrangement of treats and drinks!

Food and drinks are my most favourite way to bond with people. Having a good laugh and catch up with a drink in my hand and a snack in the other is definitely one of my favourite ways of self-care.

I actually just had them over and served my Autumn Harvest Punch and my SIL loved it! I’m looking forward to having some people over again within the next few weeks and I’ll be preparing them some Fall inspired drinks!

I like to keep the drinks fairly easy so that I have more time hanging out than in the kitchen! I also love making drinks that you can prepare in advance and let chill so almost zero work needs to be done! Punch is a great drink as well as martinis, and lemonades as they require a few ingredients and little technique!

Also, if you’re looking to cheat and take the easy way out, the liquor store has great pre-mixed drinks! The only downside is that it is a little more expensive especially if you’re hosting a large group of people. If you buy one bottle of hard liquor and ingredients for one drink, you’d be surprised at how many batches you can make compared to if you were getting one bottle of pre-mix drinks!

Another plus to making your own cocktails at home would be that you can alter the ingredients yourself. A lot of pre-mixed drinks contain a lot of sugar so you can easily avoid that!

What is your favourite easy cocktail to make? Also, what’s your favourite alcohol to use? I’d love to know below!

You don’t need a lot of equipment to make the drinks below but investing in a few things goes a long way! I don’t have a bar section quite yet in my home but I’ll be adding one soon!

Some bar essentials you NEED in your home include:

drink strainer

drink shaker

drink muddler

shot jigger

Autumn Harvest Punch

This Autumn Harvest Punch recipe really embodies Fall. In this recipe, you’ve got ginger, apples, and cinnamon which are 3 of the most popular Fall flavours! This punch contains vodka and apple cider as the alcoholic components. The ginger beer gives it a spicy kick to tie together this refreshing and crisp drink!

Pumpkin Spice Moscow Mules

Moscow mules are excellent if you don’t like super sweet drinks! A Moscow mule consists of vodka, ginger beer and lime juice. The addition of pumpkin spice makes it a refreshing Fall cocktail! This drink is super easy to make and you can actually make a huge batch of it and just add some ice every time you pour some for your guests!

Apple Whiskey Sour

Is whiskey your preferred choice of alcohol? This drink is perfect for when Fall is in full swing! Apple cider is an awesome beverage to enjoy. If you can get your hands on local apple cider, it’s incomparable! A whiskey sour consists of whiskey, simple syrup and lemon juice.

Cranberry Apple Margaritas

Tequila is my favourite alcohol. I know, it’s not everyone’s but I find the taste a lot of tolerable than other alcohol. This is a super easy drink and does not require a lot of work! These Cranberry Apple Margaritas are a combination of apple, cranberry and orange flavours.

Caramel Apple Pie Sangria

I love making sangria because of the fact that you can make it well in advance and if you make a big enough pitcher of it, you won’t need to make any more for the rest of the night! Traditionally, sangrias consist of Spanish red wine but people throughout the years have altered the recipe! Nowadays, it’s usually some hard liquor like vodka, a bottle of wine, cut fruits and maybe a flavour of juice or two!

This recipe uses caramel vodka which sounds incredible!

Hot Buttered Rum

For some reason, this reminds me of how I think butterbeer from Harry Potter would taste like! This recipe includes plenty of butter, sugar, spices and sounds amazing on a cold Fall evening! I would say that this would be a great nightcap despite the sugar! If sugar affects you before you go to sleep, might be one to enjoy earlier in the day!

This drink is perfect for a cozy evening in with the fireplace on! Get a blanket and put a fun movie on!

Pear & Vanilla Gin Fizz

Pears are such a yummy and crunchy fruit! A gin fizz consists of soda water/sparkling water and gin! I personally love making my own syrups at home like pumpkin syrup, apple syrup etc. This is perfect to enjoy with pears that are in season! You can make the syrup in bulk and enjoy this drink many times throughout the season.

Spiced Pear Tequila

Another tequila drink! This one includes tequila, lemon and citrus bitters which makes a super interesting cocktail! Sounds like the perfect bittersweet drink to make on a Fall evening. The bitters make this drink “spicy” which gives a great kick!

Bourbon Pecan Pie Cocktail

Bourbon definitely has a bit of a sweeter flavour and generally has notes of vanilla and caramel. In this recipe, it uses a specific pecan praline liqueur which sounds amazing as well as vodka so it is a bit of a stronger drink but will definitely warm you up inside! The perfect after THanksgiving dinner drink!

Ginger Pear Bourbon Martini

Another delicious bourbon drink recipe! A combination of pear and ginger is an awesome spicy and sweet drink. Garnished with a gorgeous herb and slice of either pear, ginger or cinnamon stick makes it a yummy and beautiful cocktail!

Pumpkin Spice Martini

Continue reading 11 Easy Fall Cocktails…

Last but not least, and honestly probably my favourite one! A pumpkin spice martini! I am one of those people who adore pumpkin spice anything and this drink is such a treat. The liquor of choice for this martini is Bailey’s Irish Cream Liquor which probably is one of my favs ever!! Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a dash of pumpkin pie spice and serve!

Writing this 11 Easy Fall Cocktails makes me so happy. I absolutely am OBSESSED with Fall and try to get as much out of the season as I possibly can!

I think, for the most part, I do something Fall related every single day! I love all the flavours of Fall and get so excited to make and buy Fall inspired things and food!

Thanksgiving is coming up for Canada and I’m super excited to make some drinks for my family!

What’s your favourite Fall flavour? Let me know in the comments!

Lynn

Love the idea of a caramel apple pie, but I and several of my friends have allergies. Is there a caramel vodka that doesn’t have dairy in it?

I was so curious about what this post was going to include. I’m not crazy about warmer spices, especially in drinks, so I wondered how many of these would grab me but I NEED to try the Cranberry Apple Margaritas. I love tequila too and they sound amazing!! x
