I am a sucker for anything with chocolate and peanut butter combined! I had a vision of having peanut butter and chocolate together in a buttery, flaky pastry and made these little chocolate peanut butter tarts and they are amazing! They are only 4 ingredients and are so good! Beware, they are so dangerous! I ate the whole batch in one sitting 😂

HERE IS HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER PUFF PASTRY:
WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?
You can find the ingredients to make this delicious baked dessert at most grocery stores. You’ll need to find some pre-made frozen puff pastry sheets from the frozen section of your grocery store then you’ll just need to have peanut butter, chocolate chips and powdered sugar found in the pantry/baking aisles! You may even have all these ingredients at home which is perfect!
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients to make these delicious chocolate peanut butter puff pastry bites are:
- Peanut Butter
- Chocolate Chips
- Puff Pastry Sheets
- Powdered Sugar
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
If you already bake, you should already have everything you need on hand already! I used a small flower cookie cutter to cut cute puff pastry shapes, but you can also just do squares for fewer scraps and waste, or a small circle cookie cutter!
Aside from a cookie cutter, you should just need a mini muffin baking pan and a mini strainer to sift the powdered sugar all over!

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?
This recipe is super easy for a good reason! I love making easy recipes as I find long recipes overwhelming. These mini chocolate peanut butter puff pastry desserts are 4 ingredients and very easy to whip up! You can of course add in anything you want to spruce it up!
Some good ideas to alter this recipe are:
- Sprinkle some sea salt on top
- Drizzle some chocolate, peanut butter, or caramel sauce on top
- Add some whipped cream on top
- Add crushed peanuts on top
- Use any kind of chocolate chips you’d like
WHAT DOES CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER PUFF PASTRY TASTE LIKE?
OMG, the first chocolate peanut butter tart I popped in my mouth was perfect! You get some buttery, flaky puff pastry, smooth peanut butter, and sweet chocolate with every bite! It is the perfect combination together and is so dangerous for me. I don’t know how to eat only a couple haha. You’ll be getting people asking you for this recipe!
HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?
Honestly, I don’t even know how to answer this because I didn’t even get to test it haha. I ate all of these little desserts within minutes! I would say if you have the willpower to not eat these all at once, they are good stored in the fridge for up to 4 days! Be sure to store them in an airtight container so that they stay as fresh as possible! Hot tip!! Warm them in the microwave for a few seconds and the chocolate will be all melted!
INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?
Peanut butter is my fav! Let me paint a picture for you, you ask me to make you a peanut butter sandwich and tell me to make it the way I usually do. You slice the peanut butter sandwich in half and the layer of peanut butter is taller than both bread slices put together LOL!
I seriously love peanut butter so much but I know that it’s super calorie dense and not that best to have all the time but when I do have some, I go all out!
