HERE IS HOW TO MAKE EASY 3 INGREDIENT HOT CHOCOLATE DIP:

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients for this sweet dip can be found in any grocery store! I love how easily this dip can be put together and just 3 ingredients. You’ll need Cool Whip which can be found in the frozen section of your grocery store or any whipped topping that you can find on hand if Cool Whip is not available. Hot chocolate mix which can be found in the aisle section as well as the mini marshmallows to put all together!

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients in this hot chocolate dip are:

  • Hot Chocolate Mix
  • Cool Whip
  • Mini Marshmallows

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

You will need a bowl and a spatula to make this recipe and that is it! For serving, of course, make it as cute as you’d like! I make mine on a cute Christmas tray and glass bowl but you can just eat it straight out of the bowl that you created it in.

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?

You can absolutely substitute or add anything to this recipe. If you’d like to make this with a special hot chocolate or even white chocolate, you can! It would be equally as delicious.

WHAT DOES HOT CHOCOLATE DIP TASTE LIKE?

This dip is sooooo yummy. I served this to my family and the way they’ve described it is that it melts in your mouth. It tastes like light and fluffy whipped cream with a hot chocolate taste.

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?

You can definitely pre-make the cool whip and hot chocolate mixture then add the mini marshmallows to fold in right before you serve/enjoy it so the marshmallows don’t mix together too much. I’ve tried putting the whole recipe together the night before and you sadly couldn’t tell there were marshmallows by the next day. I love the little marshmallow bites so I like to fold them before right serving. This dip will be good for up to two days as long as you keep it in an airtight container and you keep an eye out for the cool whip’s expiry date!

INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?

The inspiration for this recipe comes from my love for any kind of dip and cool whip! Last year, I created this easy Christmas dessert dip and was obsessed! I love making trays with dips for girls’ nights, date nights and when I’m hosting so I thought hot chocolate? GOOD! Cool whip? GOOD! Together? DELICIOUS!

I made this at the most perfect time as I had a girl’s night with my niece and sister-in-law and they LOVED it. We munched on it the whole night and they loved how it just melted in your mouth. I saw the idea of a cocoa dip floating around the internet and though hot chocolate dip would be super yummy and formulated a recipe in my mind!

ANY OTHER NOTES?

No other notes for this one! I highly recommend creating this dessert dip with some fruits and cookies to dip in and enjoy while cozy on the couch binging fun movies.
