I absolutely love making dessert boards because I’m a big fan of having multiple options to not get bored of + it’s really nice to be able to serve a very pretty-looking dessert tray to guests or the family after dinner.

This strawberry cheesecake dip has become one of my favourite dessert dips to enjoy as well as of course, my hot chocolate dip and I love that it is super easy and an absolute crowd pleaser!

HERE IS HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE DIP:

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients for this strawberry cheesecake dip is super easy and can be found at most local grocery stores! You can get cool whip and cream cheese from your frozen/dairy aisles and strawberry jam/puree from the pantry/spreads aisle.

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients to make this delicious dessert dip are:

  • Cool Whip
  • Cream cheese
  • Strawberry Jam/Puree

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

You don’t need very many equipment to make this recipe. I love using an electric mixer to save time however, if you don’t have an electric mixer, you can easily do this by hand. Just make sure that the cream cheese is softened prior for at least 10-15 minutes at room temperature.

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?

As usual, my recipes are a guide for home cooks! I love providing super easy recipes and having people get as creative as they want. If you want to substitute the strawberry jam/puree for fresh diced strawberries, that would be amazing!

You can also add some things like chopped nuts or chocolate chips or any other fruit would be great! You can also make your own whipped cream if you’re feeling very fancy!

WHAT DOES STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE DIP TASTE LIKE?

Honestly, this dessert dip is a perfect mix of sweet and savoury. I love tasting the strawberry jam and cool whip as well as little chunks of savoury cream cheese with every bite. My favourite thing to dip would be pretzels, strawberries and raspberries!

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?

This dessert is super easy to make so I highly recommend just whipping this up together before you serve it however, you can make this in advanced if needed and leave in the fridge to chill for a few hours and IF you end up with leftovers (not likely) then you can keep it in the fridge as long as its stored properly for up to 2 days.

INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?

I have absolute joy hosting people in my home but honestly, it gets so draining and by the time my guests arrive, I’m already so tired. I found that every event I host, I get better at it and I’m focused on being present and full of energy for my guests. I love making easy delicious recipes for them to enjoy and also encourage them to make!

There has been a handful of times where my friends and family will ask me for a recipe on something and I list a few ingredients and they’re surprised at how easy it is to recreate themselves which I enjoy!

ANY OTHER NOTES?

Yes! One note to list is that if you want the cream cheese to be more incorporated into your dip then you’ll need to cream the cream cheese first 2-3 minutes first before adding in the cool whip. If you like the chunks of cream cheese than you can put in both the cream cheese and cool whip together.

Make sure to only fold the strawberry jam for 30 seconds so you can strands of jam with every dip!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Tub Cool Whip
  • 1/2 Block Cream Cheese
  • 1 Tbsp Strawberry Jam

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, add in your cream cheese and cool whip and mix together by hand or an electric mixer until well combined.
  • Next, add in small spoons of jam and fold together a few times. If using an electric mixer, about 5-10 seconds.
  • Serve on a platter with some fruits, pretzels and cookies and enjoy!

This Asian Sesame Vermicelli Salad is light, refreshing, and packed with flavor! Tender vermicelli noodles are tossed with crisp veggies and a savory sesame dressing for an easy, vibrant dish that’s perfect for lunches, meal prep, or summer gatherings.

INGREDIENTS
* 3 Bundles Vermicelli about 150g uncooked
* 1 Cup Purple Cabbage thinly shredded 
* 1 Cup Red Peppers thinly shredded 
* 1 Cup Carrots thinly shredded 
* 1/2 Cup Edamame
* 2 Stalks Green Onion thinly sliced 

Sauce
* 1 Clove Garlic grated
* 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
* 1 tsp Sesame Oil
* 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
* 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
* 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar

INSTRUCTIONS
* Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
* In a large bowl, combine the cooked vermicelli, cabbage, red bell pepper, carrot, edamame, and green onions.
* In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds, soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar until well combined.
* Pour the sauce over the salad and toss until evenly coated.
* Chill in the fridge before serving for extra flavor for minimally 12 hours! Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

* 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
* 3/4 Cup Oil

* Fold in the poppy seeds.
* Divide the batter evenly between the 12 muffin cups and sprinkle slivered almonds on top.
* Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

* Next, add in the rice mixture to your baking pan in an even layer. Sprinkle furikake on top.
* Use the same bowl that you mixed up your rice in and add in your drained canned tuna, sesame oil, sriracha, and mayo and mix well.
* Add the layer of saucy tuna on your rice layer evenly on top. Sprinkle with furikake.
* Bake at 400F for 20-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
* Serve with a side of seasoned seaweed and enjoy!
