Halloween is an excuse to make everything ghost-shaped, isn’t it?! For me, it is hehe 👻 I’m always finding ways to make things cute and spooky for Halloween, and those ghost hand pies are so cute and only require 3 ingredients!

HERE IS HOW TO MAKE EASY BOO-BERRY GHOST HAND PIES:

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?

You should be able to find these ingredients anywhere! Most grocery stores have ready-made pie crusts in the refrigerated section that you can use. I have never made pie crust from scratch, so pre-made pie crusts are my thing! Aside from this, you’ll want blueberry pie filling and food markers or black royal icing! I used a black food-safe marker, but I do admit it was a little bit hard to draw on the flaky crust; but it worked!

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients to make this fun and delicious Halloween treat are:

  • Pie crust
  • Blueberry pie filling
  • Black food-safe marker (or black icing)

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

This recipe is so easy, you don’t need a lot of equipment! You’ll need basic baking equipment like a cookie tray and parchment paper, but aside from that, all you’ll really need is a ghost cookie cutter! I find that closer to Halloween, the dollar store usually has Halloween cookie cutters, but I bought mine on Amazon!

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?

Yes, you can! I always encourage everyone to use their creativity when making recipes, so tailor this to your tastes! Here are some ideas you can do to change up this recipe:

  • Use different pie fillings like cherry, pumpkin or apple
  • Make a 1 giant pie instead
  • Use mini chocolate chips or black icing to make the ghost face
  • Dip the top of the pie in white chocolate or spread white icing

WHAT DOES EASY BOO-BERRY GHOST HAND PIES TASTE LIKE?

It tastes like a blueberry pie, of course! I think my favourite pie out of all the pie flavours has got to be a classic apple pie or a blueberry pie! The pie crust is buttery, flaky, and salty, and the blueberry pie filling is sweet and just melts in your mouth!

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?

I recommend storing these in the fridge for up to 7 days. I love eating this with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some whipped cream!! Delicious! These also freeze really well for up to 1 month stored in an airtight container. I love making hand pies because they are so easy to enjoy and are mess-free!

INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?

I’ve actually made and posted 3 Ingredient Blueberry Hand Pies, and I thought, why not try it in a ghost shape! I was itching to make these blueberry hand pies again and knew that a cute ghost shape would be just the perfect Halloween and Fall treat! I’m not going to lie, I gobbled these up in one sitting haha

ANY OTHER NOTES?

Yes! Since the pie crust is so delicate, it was a bit hard to handle so just beware! You can do chocolate chips or black icing if the marker is too hard to use or find!

Easy Boo-Berry Ghost Hand Pies

Whip up these adorable Easy Boo-Berry Ghost Hand Pies for a spooky-sweet Halloween treat! Made with only 3 ingredients and bursting with blueberry flavor, these handheld ghost pies are perfect for parties, movie nights, or a fun baking activity with kids! 👻

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Box Frozen Pie Crust 2 rounds (top & bottom)
  • 1/2 cup Blueberry Pie Filling
  • 1 Black Food-safe Marker

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out your dough and with a mini ghost cookie cutter, cut out your pie pieces for the top and bottom of your hand pies.
  • Lay half the pie crust ghosts about an inch apart and scoop out 1/2 – 1 tbsp of the blueberry pie filling to the middle of each ghost.
  • Once you've added filling to each ghost. Add the matching top ghost pie crust on top.
  • Bake for about 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and let cool then gently draw the little ghost faces on top.
  • Serve and enjoy!

This Asian Sesame Vermicelli Salad is light, refreshing, and packed with flavor! Tender vermicelli noodles are tossed with crisp veggies and a savory sesame dressing for an easy, vibrant dish that’s perfect for lunches, meal prep, or summer gatherings.

INGREDIENTS
* 3 Bundles Vermicelli about 150g uncooked
* 1 Cup Purple Cabbage thinly shredded 
* 1 Cup Red Peppers thinly shredded 
* 1 Cup Carrots thinly shredded 
* 1/2 Cup Edamame
* 2 Stalks Green Onion thinly sliced 

Sauce
* 1 Clove Garlic grated
* 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
* 1 tsp Sesame Oil
* 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
* 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
* 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar

INSTRUCTIONS
* Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
* In a large bowl, combine the cooked vermicelli, cabbage, red bell pepper, carrot, edamame, and green onions.
* In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds, soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar until well combined.
* Pour the sauce over the salad and toss until evenly coated.
* Chill in the fridge before serving for extra flavor for minimally 12 hours! Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
* 2 1/4 Cups Flour
* 1/2 tsp Salt
* 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
* 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
* 3/4 Cup Oil 
* 1 Cup White Sugar
* 2 Eggs
* 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

* 2 Tbsp Poppy Seeds
* 1/4 Cup Slivered Almonds sprinkle on top

* In a large bowl, whisk together oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, almond extract, sour cream, and milk until smooth.
* Add flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder directly into the same bowl. Gently mix until just combined.
* Fold in the poppy seeds.
* Divide the batter evenly between the 12 muffin cups and sprinkle slivered almonds on top.
* Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
* Let cool slightly before serving.

* Use the same bowl that you mixed up your rice in and add in your drained canned tuna, sesame oil, sriracha, and mayo and mix well.
* Add the layer of saucy tuna on your rice layer evenly on top. Sprinkle with furikake.
* Bake at 400F for 20-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
* Serve with a side of seasoned seaweed and enjoy!
