Time is going by way faster than it usually does. In previous years, January tends to be the slowest month of the year so it’s a little odd!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I took a 1-2 day manifestation/goal session in the first few days of 2021. Some people do it in December but I wasn’t in a rush and I wanted to take my time deciding what I wanted and how I was going to get it.

Do you a vision board to manifest the success of your goals?

In this blog post, I want to focus on vision boards that are short-term. Although, I have a long-term vision board of where I want to travel, my family goals, my house goals etc. I find short-term vision boards more realistic.

HERE IS How To Create A Vision Board And Manifest It:

So, what is a vision board?

Basically, a vision board is basically a goal or dream board that basically has a collage of pictures of goals that you want to succeed and achieve in. These pictures can be an assortment of pictures, words and in some cases gifs or pictures if you create one online and leave it online and not physically print it and paste it in front of you.

How can I make attainable goals?

A common reason why people are unsuccessful is that they are not putting the work in. Remember that although we are manifesting it out into the universe, we still need to put in the work to be successful.

When you are creating a vision board, ensure that every goal is attainable + one knotch up. The reason I say attaintable + one knotch up is because manifesting goals includes abundance which mores you’re expecting more.

Ex. 1 By December 2021, I WILL have 2000 + followers on Instagram.

Instead of just closing your goal up and saying By December 2021, I WILL have 2000 followers. So, think of what your attainable goal will be and add a plus or some kind of way to say that you are expecting this but want more.

Next, you need to make a plan on how you’re achieving that. It doesn’t have to be a plan set in stone but there should be a pathway that you can measure your goals with.

Current Instagram Followers is 1000.

  1. I will see an increase of 84 followers a month.
  2. I will be posting photos 2 times a week.
  3. I will be posting reels 2 times a week.
  4. I will be posting IGTV videos once a month.
  5. I will spend 30 minutes x4 a day interacting with other Instagram accounts.
  6. I will post on stories daily.
  7. I will follow at least 4 niche/like-minded accounts weekly.
  8. I will utilize the hashtags to use only relevant ones with under 50k in my posts.

The plan I wrote above is similar to what I have been doing in December and will probably continue this strategy and maybe make some slight changes but notice how much work it will be to achieve this goal? Of course! Will it be worth it in the long run? Yes! Am I more likely to succeed because of how I laid out what I’m going to do? Definitely!

Of course, again this is not set in stone but it is a good start and you may always re-evaluate your goals at any time.

My friend, Anika from Out of the Habit wrote an amazing post on How to Set Successful Goals & Achieve Them you need to read!

Ex. 2 By December 2021, I will have lost 20 + lbs.

  1. I will get an outdoor walk in at least 4 times a week.
  2. I will lessen my sugar/cream consumption in my coffee daily.
  3. I will make sure that my body is filled with nutrious foods daily.
  4. I will only treat myself 3 times a week.
  5. I will do a light workout everyday for at least 15-20 mins.
  6. I will lift weights and do a heavy workout 2 times a week.

How can I put goals like example 1 in my vision board?

This is actually what I have done and I think I watched a TikTok video on it a long time ago but I alter images and input my goals as if it was already done.

How can I not lose sight of my goals and continuously manifest it?

Last but not least, how can I manifest it? After creating a board of what you want, you need to decide how you are sharing this out to the universe. Manifestation and The Law of Attraction is such a big topic but when it all comes down to it, you need to believe in yourself.

Never ever just write down your goals and leave them. Some things to do daily/weekly/monthly are:

  1. Keep a journal and write down your goals and repeat every evening/morning
  2. Say your goal out loud every evening/morning or look in the mirror and do it
  3. Pray or silently think about your goal in the evening/morning
  4. Take time every day to look at your vision board.
  5. Display somewhere that’s in your constant vision. ex. On your door, phone lock screen, bathroom door, a poster on your wall etc.

Remember if you put good out, good comes back!

I hope you enjoyed reading How To Create A Vision Board And Manifest It! This has been the way I do my goal planning for a long time and I’ve been doing really well! I won’t lie and say I’ve reached every single one of my goals every year but it’s nice to be conscious of your goals and where you’re at with them for the year!

Xo,

Lynn

Last year I introduced a new trend in my world – each quarter I create a new digital vision board using a collage app. I then set that collage as my phone and desktop wallpaper. This means that every time I turn on a device, there it is – a reminder of what I’m working towards!
