HERE IS HOW TO MAKE VALENTINE’S DAY CUPID FLOATS:

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?

You can find the ingredients for Valentine’s Day Cupid Floats at various locations:

  1. Grocery Stores: Look for strawberry milk in the dairy section, vanilla ice cream in the frozen desserts aisle, whipped cream in the refrigerated section, and Valentine’s Day sprinkles in the baking aisle.
  2. Supermarkets or Markets: Many supermarkets carry a variety of ice cream, milk, and toppings, especially around holidays like Valentine’s Day.
  3. Convenience Stores: Basic ingredients like strawberry milk and vanilla ice cream are often available in smaller convenience stores.
  4. Online Retailers: Specific Valentine’s Day sprinkles or unique flavors of ice cream might be found on online platforms, offering convenience for ingredient procurement.

If strawberry milk isn’t available or you’re looking for a dairy-free alternative, you can always look for strawberry syrup and plain milk of your choosing!

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients to make these cupid floats are:

  • Strawberry Milk (or plain milk and strawberry syrup)
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Whipped Cream
  • Valentine’s Day Sprinkles

Here are a few of my Amazon favs!

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

You can totally just use what you have at home or what you can find at the dollar store or local department store! I had most of the equipment already and bought a few Valentine’s Day theme things from the dollar store! You’ll need an ice cream scoop if you want perfect-looking scoops, some cute Valentine’s day straws, and glass cups!

Here are a few of my Amazon picks!

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?

I truly believe this recipe is excellent as it is however, if you’re not feeling strawberry milk, you could do cream or strawberry soda, or really anything that’s pink! If you’re wanting a dairy alternative, you can do that plus strawberry syrup.

If you’re not feeling like vanilla ice cream, you could do any ice cream you want! For extra pink, you can use strawberry ice cream instead. If you’re wanting a dairy alternative, you can do frozen yogurt or ice cream of your choosing.

I would keep the whipped cream as is but if you can find strawberry whipped cream, that would be delicious! If you’re looking for a dairy alternative whipped cream, coconut whipped cream is a great sub!

Last but not least, Valentine’s day sprinkles of course! Generally, craft stores, dollar stores or shops with baking supplies, will have Valentine’s day sprinkles closer to the day! You can also just use red and pink sprinkles if you can’t find specific ones.

WHAT DO VALENTINE’S DAY CUPID FLOATS TASTE LIKE?

Valentine’s Day Cupid Floats are a symphony of delightful flavors:

  1. Sweet Strawberry Milk: Infuses a luscious, sweet, and fruity taste, setting the foundation for a romantic and indulgent treat.
  2. Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream: Provides a velvety richness, creating a luxurious and smooth texture that complements the fruity notes of strawberry.
  3. Whipped Cream: Adds a light and airy sweetness, enhancing the overall creaminess and offering a delightful contrast to the denser ice cream.
  4. Valentine’s Day Sprinkles: Introduce a playful crunch and a burst of festive colors, elevating the visual and textural appeal while contributing a hint of sugary sweetness.

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?

Valentine’s Day Cupid Floats are best enjoyed immediately for optimal taste and texture. The whipped cream usually loses its volume as soon as it’s out of the can or container, and the ice cream could become too soft and melted. Assembling and savoring this delightful treat promptly ensures a fresh and indulgent experience.

It’s super quick to assemble so it definitely doesn’t need to be pre-made! It’s also so fun to do it as a group activity if you’re enjoying this treat with others!

INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?

Yes! So, I’ve been lessening my alcohol consumption and wanted to create some fun, and cute cozy drinks that were Valentine’s day themed. Flavoured milk has been getting popular well more specifically banana milk from Korean convenience store hauls and I thought strawberry milk would look absolutely adorable for this and really yummy!

Strawberry milk was always my fav as a child and more preferred than chocolate for me! At the grocery store closest to me when I was little, they sold strawberry milk by the gallons and my dad enjoyed drinking this too so it’s a no brainer for me!

Topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream?! Sounds like the perfect treat to enjoy while watching rom coms!

ANY OTHER NOTES?

No other notes for this one! Enjoy this cute delicious treat!
