Sometimes girl’s night falls on a weekday night and we still have work in the daytime! One of my absolute fav drinks to make is this Spiked Pink Lemonade because I can make it the day before and in huge batches + it saves me a lot of time!

Lemonade is an amazing drink because it’s one that I find a lot of people like so you don’t need to worry too much about people not enjoying it! I know that I always have a fear of someone not being able to drink or eat something I make because they don’t like it!

Every time I would go out to eat and get a drink, especially in the first few years I started drinking (after legal age), I would get a pink lemonade because it was something I knew that wasn’t too strong for me and that I would enjoy!

Now, I venture out to try different drinks but Pink Lemonade will always have my heart and I love making it for others to enjoy too!

HERE IS HOW TO MAKE SPIKED PINK LEMONADE:

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients for this Spiked Pink Lemonade can be found anywhere and I always use all of my favourite ingredients! I used Minute Maid’s frozen pink lemonade but you can use any pink lemonade that you can find in the store and 7UP soda. For the alcohol, I used Smirnoff Red Label Vodka and Barefoot Moscato.

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients to make this Spiked Pink Lemonade are:

  • Pink Lemonade
  • 7UP Soda
  • Smirnoff Vodka
  • Barefoot Moscato
  • Water (optional)

WHAT TYPE OF ALCOHOL SHOULD I USE?

So, this Spiked Pink Lemonade is a pretty sweet drink so I naturally use a sweet wine which is what Moscato is! You can swap this out for some white wine that is not as sweet like Pinot Grigio! For the hard liquor, vodka works great with this but you can swap it out for any white/clear liquor like white rum.

WHAT IS THE TIME BREAKDOWN TO MAKE THIS RECIPE?

The time breakdown for this Spiked Pink Lemonade is super super quick! Seriously, all you need to do is place all the ingredients in a large pitcher and leave it in the fridge to chill.

To Prepare – and measure all the ingredients

Time: 5 Minutes

To Chill – the drink in the fridge

Time: Minimally 1 hour

Total time: 5 Minutes to Prepare and 1 Hour to Chill

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

All the equipment you need for this Spiked Pink Lemonade is basically a pitcher and something to stir it with! If you’re got a pitcher with an airtight lid then you can shake it up instead!

Here are some beautiful pitchers from Amazon that I recommend!

CAN I SUB/ADD ANYTHING OUT?

I love making this Spiked Pink Lemonade because it is super easy to make and enjoy for a few days or just a night depending on how much you can drink haha! If you can’t find Pink Lemonade, regular lemonade is just as yummy and essentially the same. I believe pink lemonade is literally a drop of pink food colouring!

If you want to make it less sweet, you can substitute the 7UP for some lemon sparkling water or club soda and it would be just as good just less sweet!

WHAT DOES IT TASTE LIKE?

Honestly, to me, this just tastes like regular lemonade. I don’t even taste the alcohol! I love the bit of fizz from the soda and enjoying it with a big glass of ice! The pink colour of the drink is really for aesthetic purposes so it doesn’t make that big of a difference in taste from the regular one but it sure is pretty!

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?

This lemonade keeps for a while as nothing in this drink is perishable. I like to keep it in my fridge for up to 7 days (if it can even last that long!). Just note though, that the fizz will be gone after a day so it’ll be a little flat! You can add in some club soda again if you’re planning to drink it past the first or second day that you’ve made it.

INSPIRATIONS FOR SPIKED PINK LEMONADE?

I thought of what I wanted to drink for Valentine’s Day and of course, I wanted to try and create something really fun, cute and pink so I thought a Pink Lemonade would do the trick and I had all the ingredients in my house already!

I love anything that I can batch make and do the night before as I always prepare a lot of food when I have people over so it’s one less thing I have to worry about!

ANY OTHER NOTES?

No other notes for this one, I hope that you’ll like this recipe or take the recipe and re-vamp it to your liking!
