Let me tell you… This is one of my favorite things to shop for! When my husband and I moved into our current place, I did a whole vase/jars/planters haul! I love that they are so versatile and you could literally do what you want with them.

I’m still slowly putting out home together but I’m going to be adding new shelving soon and will be able to showcase some more beautiful pieces. Since we rent still, I’m trying my hardest not to make any dents in the wall unless its a light picture frame or something.

In your vases, you could leave as is or you can do a fresh plant and my favorite ways, dried florals/stems!

I think vases and jars are one of those pieces that are timeless and will add dimension to your home! You can switch them out as seasons pass and you can also thrift them/resell them at any point in time.

Below, I’ve created a list of different vases and jars that are absolutely stunning from my favorite places to grab home décor. I tried to pick a lot of different ones so there’s one for almost every home décor style!

Amazon

So, first up is Amazon. Definitely not my favorite place to shop but I have bought pieces I’ve loved like my beautiful macramé wall hangings. I haven’t bought a vase on Amazon yet but what I like about them is that you can return anything you want so easily so you can test for quality!

Anthropologie

I haven’t bought any home décor from Anthropologie but I really décor their comfy clothing! I do browse their home section and there’s never a time where I’m not in love with something!

IKEA

Who could go wrong with IKEA? I actually went the other day and picked up some kitchen items for food styling! I never walk out empty handed.

H&M

I believe H&M’s home décor section is quite recent? Must be about a year or 2 since they’ve launched home stuff. I haven’t seen it in store nor bought anything but all of the things I’ve browsed online looks super affordable so I’m definitely making a purchase soon!

I LOVE SIMONS! I believe they are Canadian owned but this where where I did my first big décor haul. Unfortunately, so many items I’ve bought aren’t available anymore but there’s always lots of new arrivals and it is so affordable!

Indigo

Love Indigo obviously first and foremost for books but they’ve got a beautiful selection office and home décor. All of their items are very modern and chic. Hopefully soon, I can walk into the shop and look around!

Last but not least, Urban Outfitters! I’ve gone Downtown into this shop a handful of times but I don’t think I’ve ever really walked out with anything. I love how trendy and hip their décor and clothing is! They’ve got a wide range of things so I most definitely will be purchasing some items there soon too.

  39. I never seem to have enough vases for all the flowers and foliage I’m always cutting from our garden! There are some lovely picks here – I also like browsing second hand shops for unusual containers (they tend to be smaller) and recycling jam jars for bedside posies 🙂

Ikea is one of my favorite places to shop but the closest one is almost 5 hours away so I don’t think I’ve been there in years. Target and Home Goods are my tried and true home decor stores.
