12+ Spring Date Ideas

Read more for all the details on 12+ Spring Date Ideas.

I’m probably a broken record at this point but my husband and I just celebrated 8 years of being together! We wanted to go bike riding but the weather was so finicky that we didn’t want to risk it if it rained! It ended up being sunny so we just went for a long walk, picked up some treats and had a movie night at home. I had this whole day planned of going bike riding beside the ocean and heading to the farmers markets but it’ll have to wait till hopefully later this month or next.

I have a hate/love relationship with cold weather! I love doing seasonal date night posts as I feel like I’m always running out of ideas or I just blank out sometimes! Date days/nights are definitely something I look forward to every week.

HERE ARE 12+ Spring Date Ideas:

Picnic & Book at the Park

Picnics are always my fav! Soaking up the sun in a grassy field and reading a good book. Pack a few snacks and get that Vitamin C.

Visit Tulips

A lot of farms do seasonal Tulip festivals. These are always my favorite as I’m in awe of how gorgeous and colorful it is! Aside from local festivals, lots of cities plant them around.

Farmers Market

One of my favorite things! Farmers markets. I love getting fresh flowers, produce, and local home products. I can’t wait to head to a few soon.

Date idea visiting a Farmer's Market

Recipe testing

After heading out to the Farmers Markets, bring that vision to life! Try out some delicious recipes and test out the products individually.

Coffee Shop and Bakery

This one is a date no matter what season you are in! I love baked good and a nice slightly expensive coffee. I don’t have it often so when I do, I cherish it! Perfect to share this experience with your partner.

Date idea to go to a coffee shop and bakery

Paddle Boat/Lake Day

Depending on where you live, this may be too early. I know that some lakes don’t start their rentals till Summer but we love lake days! We look forward to them every Spring/Summer.

Bike Riding

Of course, our favorite activity! My dad gifted us a couple of folding bikes so they fit right in the trunk of our car to lug around anywhere!

BBQ Patio Dinner

Although summer is the season where everyone takes grilling more seriously, I love grilling in the spring too and having lots of grilled seasonal veggies.

Plant a Tree

I thought this was the cutest idea! There’s some organizations that you can do this with or if you have a decent sized backyard, you can do that too.

Spring Photoshoot

I’m a sucker for a cute photoshoot. Beautiful and colorful shoots around the city is so fun.

Decorate your Home for Spring

I know some of us are guilty of having holiday decorations up still haha! This is your sign to change it up. Take out or buy some beautiful vases and put some fresh flowers in them!

date idea to decorate for spring

Spring Clean

I’m not entirely sure if this would be a considered date BUT depends on if your partner loves cleaning too! Always nice to have a fresh and clean house.

Decorate Easter Eggs

I always loved doing this as a kid and I have tons of nieces and nephews who enjoy doing this as well. My husband and I are competitive too so we like to make it a contest.

Fly a Kite

So nostalgic right! I remember being so excited with my dollar store kites and trying to fly them on the beach. You’ll probably be more successful with nicer quality ones now.

Make a Bird Feeder

I’m afraid of birds but I thought that this is a lovely suggestion! Super easy to make too.

Find a Flea Market

If you love antiques and finding gorgeous handmade and aged products, more flea markets open during spring! Perfect to walk around and find something you love!
