Read more for all the details on Honey Butter Carrots.

I don’t know how but I often have weeks where I accidentally buy bundles of carrots and don’t know what to do with them! I think it’s because I compare the prices of buying them individually vs a bundle then forget to remove the bundle from my cart.

I started making honey butter carrots a while ago because I usually love having carrots raw with ranch but get sick of them after a few days! This is my fav recipe and I hope you enjoy it.

What’s your fav way to eat carrots?! I’d love to know and get inspired!

HERE IS HOW TO MAKE HONEY BUTTER CARROTS:

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients are super simple for this Honey Butter Carrots recipe and you can find the ingredients in really any grocery store. All you’ll really need are carrots from the produce section. Salted butter from the dairy aisle and all the seasonings and honey from the pantry aisles. You also may already have all of these ingredients at home!

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

To make these yummy honey butter carrots, you’ll need:

  • Carrots
  • Honey
  • Butter
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

You don’t need too much for this recipe! Really just a good old fashion carrot peeler, chopping board, knife, shallow frying pan and a cooking utensil! This is a one-pan recipe so it’s super easy!

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?

You sure can! I love stating that my recipes are a guide and that taste is super subjective just like art. On this platform, I focus on really easy and affordable recipes to make cooking at home attainable. Everyone is always welcome to add, substitute or remove whatever ingredients they’d like from my recipes to tailor to their taste buds!

WHAT DO HONEY BUTTER CARROTS TASTE LIKE?

This honey butter carrots recipe tastes exactly how it sounds. You get the saltiness and savoury taste from the seasonings and the salted butter and since carrots are already sweet, you can a good boost from the honey as well!

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?

These carrots keep for a while! If you’re planning to meal prep and reheat them throughout the week, it’s best to undercook them a tad so that they won’t be too soft when you re-heat them and eat them. I would keep this in the fridge for up to 5/7 days as long as you store them in a good airtight container and reheat them thoroughly.

INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?

Hmm, this inspiration for this dish is definitely bunnies and rabbits haha! I like making/eating carrots in the spring time because with Easter around the corner, bunnies and rabbit-themed things are everywhere and I’ll always think of them eating carrots.

All jokes aside, I’ve found when grocery shopping that buying a few carrots compared to buying a bag of them is way more expensive so I always buy a big bag of them and never know what to do! I tried making this one day and I was sold! I knew I needed to make this whenever I have a gathering or buy a bulk supply of carrots.

ANY OTHER NOTES?

It’s best to add the honey at the very last minute! Sugar burns easily and it’s nice to get the carrots all coated in the seasonings first and addomg the honey last for that last touch of sweetness!

Honey Butter Carrots

These honey butter carrots are the most perfect side dish for you to make! You get the sweetness from the honey to boost the already sweet carrots and the savoriness from the salted butter and yummy seasonings! The best for Spring dinners!

These carrots look delicious and so easy to make! Definitely great when having leftover carrots (we also forget we have them sometimes!). Love savoury recipes that include honey. I will try this recipe out!
