Whether you work remotely or have office space in another building, we spend a good chunk of time every week in this dedicated space to work.

During the holidays, the days are shorter and it gets darker and gloomy more and more every day. As a child, it’s so much easier to get into the holiday spirit than it is as an adult. I try and incorporate little things into my home and activities to get me into any holiday!

You could definitely say that I am extra! Haha.

Do you try to get into the holiday spirit as early as possible? What do you do? Let me know in the comments!

HERE ARE 7 OFFICE FRIENDLY CHRISTMAS DECOR:

Printables

This is my favourite way to get into the holiday spirit! I have a grid wall in my office that I love to decorate throughout the year and printables go such a long way! I create all my printables myself but also purchase through Etsy!

If you’ve got any framed art on your desk or thumbtacked to your wall, swap it out for Christmas art prints to get you into the holiday spirit on a budget and minimal work!

I always share my printables so if you’re looking for some cute modern and minimal prints and freebies, don’t forget to join my email list!

Here are some of my favourite picks of Christmas Printables from Etsy that I adore:

Mini Stockings

Nothing says Christmas like stockings by the fireplace. You definitely don’t need to hang huge stockings by your desk but small cute ones are the way to go!

It makes you excited for Christmas with just a quick everyday glance. You can hang mini stockings on your walls, have them on your desk or really anywhere you’d like! You can use clear hooks to hang them up or thumbtacks or clothespins!

Here are some of my favourite picks of mini stockings from Amazon that I adore:

Jars or Vases

If you’re a reader of the blog, you’d know that I absolutely love jars and vases! I have them all over my home and love that they add dimension and volume to your home decor.

They are so versatile and very easy to get creative with. You can use jars and vases anywhere in your house and you can fill them with an assortment of items or even spray paint and decorate the front of the vases!

Here are some of my favourite picks of versatile jars and vases from Amazon that I adore:

Bowl of Candy Cane or Treats

If you’re a social butterfly in the office and are welcoming to people stopping by at your desk often, you’ll be even more popular if you have a bowl of seasonal treats by your desk!

I’ve never done this before but I had coworkers who would put out a bowl of snacks by her desk and I swear, there’s not a day that goes by where she didn’t get a handful of people visiting and chatting with her!

Candy canes are great as they are a budget-friendly option and you can find them at your local dollar store too!

Here are some of my favourite picks of Christmas bowls from Amazon that I adore:

Yarn Trees

Yarn trees are absolutely so dreamy and extremely cozy to look at. They are so easy and you can make them any shape or size you’d like! I bought 2 bundles of thick fluffy yarn for the dollar store and made a bunch of these yarn trees for around the house.

I made mine pretty short and thin so they stand up well and don’t get in the way or fall down often!

Here are some materials to help you get started on yarn trees from Amazon:

Small garland

Garlands of any kind make the best and easy removable decor. You can easily put it up and take it down and switch it up throughout the seasons.

I love making paper garlands as it is super cheap but you can do wood beads, wool balls, snowflakes, or greenery.

Here are some of my favourite winter garlands from Amazon:

Mini Christmas Tree

Last but not least, Christmas trees! The ultimate Christmas decor is a Christmas Tree! If you don’t have anything else from this list, a mini Christmas tree will do.

There are so many cute mini Christmas Trees out there in different colours as well as some that light up as well. You can do a traditional tree or like the yarn trees above, painted cardboard trees, felt trees, wood trees and so much more!

If you’re a creative person, you can easily make mini Christmas trees out of what you already have at home.

Here are some of my favourite mini trees from Amazon:

I love printable art and it makes a great Christmas gift too! Plus you can just swap put the frames you already have at different times of the year. The year before last my boss bought a giant 8ft Inflatable snowman for our office. It was hilarious but I think these ideas are more ideal for the office haha!.

Eeeeeeee! I am SO READY for Christmas even though I haven’t even begun to think about what I’m doing for Thanksgiving, haha! Anything with a reindeer is usually my go-to favourite but I particularly like the vintage wooden trees (I have some felt ones so they need a bit of updating). Thanks for the inspiration!

I, too, definitely love getting into the holiday spirit earlier than the average bear, haha. I also try to decorate my office depending on the current season, so this post is right up my alley! The DIY mason jar decorations would add such an understated but elegant touch. I also work primarily with kids, so I will always take another candy dish to serve treats from! Thank you for sharing!
