Ground beef is a great package of meat to buy at the grocery store lately because it’s fairly affordable and also can easily be prepared in many different ways! I love buying ground beef as it’s super convenient and easy to store in the freezer to use throughout the month.

One of my most favorite way to use ground beef is to make these delicious cheesy stuffing meatballs! This recipe only calls for 3 ingredients plus salt and pepper to taste that’s optional. These meatballs are awesome to add to soups, pasta, or my favorite way into a meatball marinara sub!

HERE IS HOW TO MAKE 3 INGREDIENT CHEESY STUFFING MEATBALLS:

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients to make this delicious recipe can be found in any grocery store. You’ll need a small package of ground beef (about 500 g) which is located in the meat section of the store then your favorite stuffing mix and cheese! I LOVE the Kraft Stove Top Turkey Stuffing Mix so I always use this for my stuffing recipe but you can use whatever stuffing is on sale, affordable, or your fav. I use shredded mozzarella cheese for these meatballs normally but again, you can choose your fav shredded cheese!

I generally opt for whatever is on sale to try and keep my grocery costs low.

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients to make these delicious cheesy stuffing meatballs are:

  • Ground Beef (450-500g)
  • 1/2 Cup of Shredded Cheese
  • 1 Cup of Stuffing Mix

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

The equipment for this recipe is very minimal. I like to use my air fryer to cook these meatballs as they are much quicker but you can also use your oven or even cook them in a pot/pan on the stove! I love my cookie scooper for making even-sized meatballs and it’s been a complete game-changer for me. I’ve never been able to go back to eyeing the size of my meatballs.

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?

You sure can substitute or add anything you’d like to this recipe! Stuffing mix generally already has yummy spices and seasonings so I recommend just adding in some salt and pepper to taste but of course, you can add in as many seasonings and spices as you’d like.

Ground beef is what I usually use as the meat for meatballs but you can use ground pork, chicken, or any other meat substitute according to your diet.

Cheese is of course up to your preference. If you want to add more than the recipe then please do! You can also bulk up the meatballs by adding some diced vegetables like kale, spinach, broccoli, onions, etc.

WHAT DOES 3 INGREDIENT CHEESY STUFFING MEATBALLS TASTE LIKE?

I love how simple these meatballs are! Freshly cooked meatballs are the best as they have amazing cheese pulls! They are hearty and remind me of Thanksgiving a little bit because of the stuffing. YUM

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?

These meatballs are good (cooked) for up to 4 days in the fridge. Make sure they are always stored in an airtight container. You can also store these meatballs in the freezer for up to one month and just cook them as you need them! Perfect for meal prep or if you like switching up your meals frequently and not having the same leftovers every day.

INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?

The inspiration for this recipe comes from honestly how busy I’ve been the last few months. My schedule has been super packed lately that it’s been difficult finding time to create elaborate meals which I normally love. I try and prepare as many meals in advance as I can so I’m not stuck getting takeout or going out to eat and can budget accordingly.

These meatballs are awesome to use for many different meals and snacks so it’s been on my monthly rotating menu for a while now.

ANY OTHER NOTES?

Yes! Since the meatball has cheese all over and bread stuffing, I recommend cooking low and slow rather than high and fast so they don’t dry out and all the cheese oil drips out.
