Read more for all the details on 40+ Last-Minute Halloween Treat Ideas.

Halloween is all about treats! That’s where the line “Trick or Treat!” comes from right?

I wouldn’t say I’m a last-minute person as I like to plan a lot but I am a yes person. So, being a yes person means that I am constantly saying yes to plans which means I need to think of last-minute things to bring!

There are a handful of times where I’d be working all day then need to rush to the grocery store to pick up a few things then scramble my way home, throw things together and head out the door.

It can get super stressful so it’s great to have a list of things that you can easily throw together for Halloween under your belt!

Don’t forget to bookmark for later! Do you have a go-to easy Halloween treat that you make?

As much I love hosting and impressing people with what I bring. There are times where I just can’t get myself to do the work so I’ll pick up something but honestly, it’s not the same!

Creating is something I treasure and love that I love. It makes me so proud to create things and share them. The easier the better and also, the simpler the ingredients are, the easier it is to explain to guests how you did them.

I also share my recipes and never keep them a secret as you all know from my blog!

Do you normally just pick something up already made to bring to a party? Or are you like me and like to make something from semi-scratch? I’d love to know if you relate!

HERE ARE 40+ LAST MINUTE HALLOWEEN TREAT IDEAS:

Easy Halloween Spider Cookies

My recipe for spider cookies is the easiest and most simple treat to take with you. Only a few ingredients and takes a total including baking time of about 20 minutes to prepare!

Fun fact: When I worked as admin for an office, we had a Halloween potluck and although I was still new, I wanted to join in. I brought a big batch of these and thought I was silly and that people would not touch these but literally the next time I turned my head, I saw that they were all gone! The best sweet and salty treat.

Halloween Muddie Buddies

Halloween muddies buddies also known as puppy chow is a great sweet and salty snack to whip together! If you want to take it a step further, you can individually wrap these and tie an orange ribbon on it!

Halloween Monster Donuts

These Halloween monster donuts are perfect if you want to go above and beyond but also don’t want to do the work. Grab a package of donuts, fake fangs from the Dollar Tree and some m&m’s or skittles.

Jack Skellington Oreo Pops

I have to say, I am terrible at designed chocolate or using icing. It’s definitely something I need to work on but if you’ve got a little more time, these are perfect to make! Oreos, white chocolate, cake sticks and a bow is what you need to make these Jack Skellington masterpieces!

Worms in Dirt

As I child, I loved this! One of my elementary best friends has a birthday near Halloween and her mom would always do things like this! Worms are lovely additions to chocolate pudding and the crushed chocolate crumbs are awesome for texture!

Halloween Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies

I love cream cheese in anything! Seriously so good. These brownies would not last near me! Black and orange desserts are all the hype for Halloween!

Melted Jack O’ Lantern Brownies

Another great idea if you kind of wants to create something but not entirely. Grab grocery store brownies, orange candy melts and chocolate chips! You can easily make this in under an hour.

Coffin Shaped Pop Tarts

Pop-tarts make me feel so nostalgic! I remember my mom buying these for me when I was in elementary. I would love to make my own one day like these ones!

Ghost Pretzels

I can’t even tell you how cute these are! I swear googly eyes make everything cute.

Ghost Popcorn Balls

At first, I thought these were rice krispy balls but I love that they made these popcorn balls sweet and salty! Love that these are also really easy to just grab and eat.

Halloween Bat Treats

What a wonderful idea to use oreo cookies and reeses! Just make sure that the event you’re going to doesn’t have guests with a peanut allergy but you could also substitute the chocolate for whatever you’d like!

Pumpkin Hershey’s Kiss Cookies

Pumpkin Hershey Kiss Cookies are the perfect topping for these cookies! You could even make these for Thanksgiving too!

Halloween Boo Bark

Making seasonal bark is awesome! I love making candy cane bark and am certain that Halloween bark is just as delicious! These are super cute and resemble monsters!

Peanut Butter Spider Cookies

Another great way to make spider cookies! These take a little more time but so delish!

Apple Monsters

Apple Monsters are a great snack for the days leading up to Halloween! Perfect for Halloween day lunch or snacks too!

Spooky S’mores Bars

S’more’s bars are the best but spooky ones with ghosts on top!? Even better!

Blood Spatter Oreos

Okay, this really does not get any easier! You can buy Oreos and either uses white chocolate and add some red food gel or buy some read cookie icing. You’ll need to have these fully dried before stacking them if you’re going to transport them.

Witches Brooms

This treat is awesome if you want to serve something more savoury! These are perfect for kids’ parties and only require 2 ingredients! String cheese which is always a hit and pretzel sticks!

Mummy Dogs

This is an awesome lunch for little kiddos and you can use regular meat hot dogs or veggie dogs. You can buy weiner wraps from the brand Pillsbury at most grocery stores usually by the dairy aisle.

Rice Krispie Treat Pumpkins

Rice Krispies are always a favourite! These pumpkin-shaped ones will definitely be a huge hit with anyone and everyone!

Halloween Sprinkle Cookies

Orange and black are the official Halloween colours so you can get away with bringing literally any food item that’s orange and black. You can also buy sugar cookie dough pre-made and just roll these in sprinkles and bake.

Spider Web Pretzels

I love how creative these spider web pretzels are! They are so simple yet gorgeous to look at. Perfect sweet and salty treat.

Graveyard Pudding Cups

Just like the worm in dirt cups earlier in this post, these graveyard cups are great to serve and they are individual which is awesome.

Halloween Dunkaroo Dip

How throwback is Dunkaroo!? Did you have dunkaroo packs in your lunches for school?

Halloween Gingerbread Men

A sweet mix of Christmas and Halloween! Jack Skellington would be so proud. This is the cutest idea if you have a bit of time!

Candy Corn Marshmallow Pops

Candy corn is so adorable but the taste is definitely not something everyone quite loves. I’m not a big fan but I don’t mind it! Candy corn marshmallows are a great way to trick yourself into thinking you like candy corn 😉

Witches Brew Cream Cheese Halloween Dip

Again, cream cheese in anything is so good! You could do a fruit tray with this dip and it would be fab! Or even a mixture of different cookies and biscuits too.

Witch Fingers

Witches fingers aka mozzarella sticks is an awesome appetizer to have because you cant go wrong with cheese!

Mozzarella Eyeball Appetizer

These Halloween Mozarella eyeball appetizers remind me slightly of Caprese bites because of the use of the bocconcini balls!

Pumpkin Hummus

Hummus is one of my fav healthy snacks and I love having pita chips or fresh vegetables with it. Pumpkin hummus sounds awesome!

Pumpkin Donuts

Pumpkin puree in any baked goods make it incredibly soft and moist. These pumpkin donuts are awesome and gorgeous to serve!

Monster Bundt Cake

I really loved this idea and will be doing this for sure! I love fresh tortilla chips and salsa and making spooky-looking ones is perfect for Halloween!

Black Lemonade

I wanted to add a drink in here and I loved the look of this spooky lemonade. You could make it regular or add a boozy kick to it! Vodka goes so well with lemonade.

Chocolate Covered Pretzel Pumpkins

Just like the white ghosts above, pretzels dipped in chocolate are an excellent snack! Love the way this looks!

Crescent Roll Witch Hats

Cresent roll witch hats are great appetizers to serve at parties! Super quick and simple too if you use a ready-to-bake version.

Clementine Pumpkins

I love this idea when you want to give a treat to the kiddos’ classes! Super easy and your kids can help too.

Oreo Mummy Cookies

I’ve made this before and I loved how easy it was! You can use white chocolate if you need it to harden or cream cheese frosting if you don’t mind serving them in a single layer without stacking.
