HERE IS HOW TO MAKE BAKED HEALTHY HALLOWEEN CORN TORTILLA CHIPS:

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?

This Baked Healthy Halloween Corn Tortilla Chip recipe only uses 3 ingredients so you can find them anywhere! I get my corn tortillas from the grocery store and use any oil that I have at home as well as a sprinkle of salt!

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients to make this yummy healthy treat are:

  • Corn tortillas
  • Oil or butter
  • Salt

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

The equipment that you need to make these chips are very very little and you most likely already have! You’ll want Halloween cookie cutters, a baking sheet, some parchment paper and an oil brush! You can definitely omit the parchment paper and just place your tortillas on the sheet directly. I like to use parchment paper for less mess. If you don’t have an oil brush, you can definitely just use a plate and quickly dip your corn tortillas one by one before placing them on the baking sheet.

Below are the exact Halloween cookie cutters that I bought from Amazon BUT I’ve seen some at Dollar tree so you can definitely pick some up there!

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?

You can absolutely substitute this recipe for what you have! I use corn tortillas and avocado oil to make them gluten-free but you can use regular white tortillas or even veggie tortillas like spinach or tomato that I’ve seen in grocery stores.

You can also choose what oil you want to use and what you have on hand! Some oils are definitely more expensive and inaccessible than others. I like to use avocado or olive but you can use butter or vegetable oil. Just make sure to use a bit so the chips crisp up! I’ve tried to do them with no oil and they are not the same.

I like to just use plain salt for seasoning but I have also sprinkled some cheddar seasoning or BBQ so you can season them however you want!

You can also use these to make delicious nachos and top them with some cheese to melt.

WHAT DO BAKED HEALTHY HALLOWEEN CORN TORTILLA CHIPS TASTE LIKE?

These corn tortilla chips are delicious! They pretty much taste like homemade Tostitos chips which I love! These are just homemade which is so nice. I love homemade food items!

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?

If you can, I would stick to making these fresh right before you eat them however, I have kept some in an airtight container as well as in a ziplock and they are still crunchy after 2 days. On the 3rd day, they do get stale and soggy!

INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?

I have been actively trying to limit gluten, dairy and oil in my diet so I wanted to find a healthy alternative as I’m a huge chip lover! I love Halloween and all things Fall and start watching Halloween movies in August so I knew I needed to make a delicious snack ASAP. Love the idea of making homemade chips with fresh salsa!

ANY OTHER NOTES?

The only note for this is to make sure that although using little oil, that each chip is brushed evenly so the chips crisp up nicely too!

Baked Healthy Halloween Corn Tortilla Chips

With just three ingredients, these Baked Healthy Halloween Corn Tortilla Chips are easy to make and a super fun snack to share with your friends. They’re perfect for enjoying a scary movie or hanging out at home with family. And if you’re making them for a party, you’ll love that they come together in minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Package Corn Tortillas
  • 1 Tbsp Avocado Oil or any oil/butter of choice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375 F and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Use Halloween cookie cutters to cut shapes out of your corn tortillas then line them up on your baking sheet.
  • Lightly brush oil on both sides of the tortilla then place in the oven for 6-8 minutes or until fully crispy and golden brown.
  • Serve with your favourite salsa, sour cream and guacamole and enjoy!

This Asian Sesame Vermicelli Salad is light, refreshing, and packed with flavor! Tender vermicelli noodles are tossed with crisp veggies and a savory sesame dressing for an easy, vibrant dish that’s perfect for lunches, meal prep, or summer gatherings.

INGREDIENTS
* 3 Bundles Vermicelli about 150g uncooked
* 1 Cup Purple Cabbage thinly shredded 
* 1 Cup Red Peppers thinly shredded 
* 1 Cup Carrots thinly shredded 
* 1/2 Cup Edamame
* 2 Stalks Green Onion thinly sliced 

Sauce
* 1 Clove Garlic grated
* 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
* 1 tsp Sesame Oil
* 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
* 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
* 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar

INSTRUCTIONS
* Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
* In a large bowl, combine the cooked vermicelli, cabbage, red bell pepper, carrot, edamame, and green onions.
* In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds, soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar until well combined.
* Pour the sauce over the salad and toss until evenly coated.
* Chill in the fridge before serving for extra flavor for minimally 12 hours! Enjoy!

* Next, add in the rice mixture to your baking pan in an even layer. Sprinkle furikake on top.
* Use the same bowl that you mixed up your rice in and add in your drained canned tuna, sesame oil, sriracha, and mayo and mix well.
* Add the layer of saucy tuna on your rice layer evenly on top. Sprinkle with furikake.
* Bake at 400F for 20-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
* Serve with a side of seasoned seaweed and enjoy!
