HERE IS HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER GREEK YOGURT CHICKEN SKEWERS:

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?

You can find the ingredients for Air Fryer Greek Yogurt Chicken Skewers at your local grocery store or supermarket. Common ingredients include chicken breast, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, honey, herbs, and spices.

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients to make this delicious Greek chicken are:

  • Chicken breasts
  • Greek seasoning
  • Lemon
  • Honey
  • Greek yogurt
  • Olive oil

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

This recipe is super easy! You don’t need very much equipment for this recipe which is what we love here on the blog! All you’ll really need are bowls, a knife and cutting board, some measuring cups/spoons and skewers.

Note that the skewers are totally optional. You don’t need to put this chicken on skewers if you don’t have the time or do not want to! Skewers are nice for portion sizes and if you’re hosting since they are easy to just grab and eat! I just get mine from the dollar store!

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?

You sure can! I ALWAYS encourage creativity when it comes to making my recipes! I use a pre-made Greek seasoning mix however, you can make it yourself as well! Generally, I see Greek seasoning made of oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, basil, dill, black pepper and salt. If you don’t like a certain spice, feel free to omit it!

For this recipe, I used chicken breasts as I love to enjoy these skewers with salad on the side for a healthy lean lunch but you’re welcome to use any part of the chicken or even protein you’d like.

Full-fat Greek yogurt I find keeps this recipe super moist however, if this is not available to you, you can also substitute with plain yogurt, buttermilk or sour cream.

Aside from this, I would keep the lemon juice, honey and olive oil as is! These ingredients are key factors in how delicious these turn out but of course, use what you’d like!

WHAT DOES AIR FRYER GREEK YOGURT CHICKEN SKEWERS TASTE LIKE?

Air Fryer Greek Yogurt Chicken Skewers offer a delightful blend of tangy Greek yogurt, zesty lemon, and aromatic herbs and spices. The chicken is tender and juicy, with a subtle Mediterranean flavor profile that’s both refreshing and satisfying.

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?

Air Fryer Greek Yogurt Chicken Skewers can last for up to 3 days in the refrigerator when stored in an airtight container. However, for the best taste and texture, it’s recommended to consume them within 1-2 days.

Honestly, chicken breasts can easily get super dry so if you have the time, I would just make enough for leftovers the next day and cook it fresh as often as you can but I understand life gets busy and you want to make a big batch to meal prep with!

I would recommend heating in the microwave with a damp paper towel or adding a tablespoon of water to the dish to keep it’s moisture!

INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?

I have been trying to step out of my comfort zone a little bit and create new recipes that are great for busy weeks! I love how flavourful these skewers are and are also so perfect if you’re hosting as well!

Although I love cooking in the air fryer, these skewers could also go so well on the grill on a beautiful summer night with a fresh and delicious Greek salad.

This Greek chicken recipe may not be authentic but it surely is delicious!

ANY OTHER NOTES?

Yes! If you plan on using skewers, try and soak them in water for 10-20 minutes. This way the skewers won’t burn as fast while the chicken is cooking.

Air Fryer Greek Yogurt Chicken Skewer

These Air Fryer Greek Yogurt Chicken are tender pieces of chicken marinated in Greek yogurt and spices, skewered and air-fried to perfection for a flavorful and juicy Greek-inspired dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Tbsp Greek Seasoning
  • 1/2 Lemon juiced
  • 1 1/12 Tbsp Honey
  • 1/2 Cup Chicken Breasts cut in 2 inch chunks
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, add in your chicken breast, Greek seasoning, lemon, honey, olive oil and Greek yogurt and mix everything well together. Massage the chicken so that every piece is coated with the marinade.
  • Let chicken marinate in the fridge for minimally 2 hours.
  • Once your chicken has marinated, preheat your air fryer to 400F. Optional: spray the basket with a little bit of oil or place a parchment liner in.
  • Place your chicken skewers in and cook for a total of 12 minutes, flipping halfway through or until the chicken is brown on the outside and reaches an internal temperature of 165F.
  • Serve with some rice pilaf, Greek salad and tzatziki and enjoy!

This Asian Sesame Vermicelli Salad is light, refreshing, and packed with flavor! Tender vermicelli noodles are tossed with crisp veggies and a savory sesame dressing for an easy, vibrant dish that’s perfect for lunches, meal prep, or summer gatherings.

INGREDIENTS
* 3 Bundles Vermicelli about 150g uncooked
* 1 Cup Purple Cabbage thinly shredded 
* 1 Cup Red Peppers thinly shredded 
* 1 Cup Carrots thinly shredded 
* 1/2 Cup Edamame
* 2 Stalks Green Onion thinly sliced 

Sauce
* 1 Clove Garlic grated
* 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
* 1 tsp Sesame Oil
* 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
* 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
* 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar

INSTRUCTIONS
* Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
* In a large bowl, combine the cooked vermicelli, cabbage, red bell pepper, carrot, edamame, and green onions.
* In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds, soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar until well combined.
* Pour the sauce over the salad and toss until evenly coated.
* Chill in the fridge before serving for extra flavor for minimally 12 hours! Enjoy!

* Next, add in the rice mixture to your baking pan in an even layer. Sprinkle furikake on top.
* Use the same bowl that you mixed up your rice in and add in your drained canned tuna, sesame oil, sriracha, and mayo and mix well.
* Add the layer of saucy tuna on your rice layer evenly on top. Sprinkle with furikake.
* Bake at 400F for 20-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
* Serve with a side of seasoned seaweed and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
* 1/2 Cup White Sugar
* 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
* 1 Mashed Ripe Banana
* 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
* 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
* 1 Cup Water

INSTRUCTIONS
* In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine water, white sugar, and brown sugar.
* Stir until the sugars fully dissolve and the mixture begins to gently simmer.
* Add the mashed banana and cinnamon. Simmer for 5–8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
