HERE IS HOW TO MAKE BAKED SOY GARLIC CHICKEN WINGS:

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?

You can find the ingredients for Baked Soy Garlic Chicken Wings at your local grocery store. Look for chicken wings, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, sesame seeds, and other pantry staples in the poultry and condiment aisles. If you prefer organic or specialty ingredients, specialty food stores or online retailers may also have what you need.

Soy sauce is now an ingredient available worldwide so aside from this, there isn’t any other ingredients that’s hard to find in this and you most likely already have it all at home!

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients to make these delicious Soy Garlic Chicken Wings are:

  • Chicken Wings
  • Soy Sauce
  • Garlic
  • Brown Sugar
  • Pepper
  • Green Onions
  • Sesame Seeds

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

This chicken wings recipe is a great chicken wings recipe to make! All you’ll need is some standard baking equipment like baking trays, bowls to marinate the chicken wings in, and kitchen utensils to mix up all the ingredients together. You can of course use your hand as well! You’ll also need to finely mince the garlic but you’re also welcome to use a processor or even a micro plane or garlic press!

Here are some of my favorite Amazon kitchen products!

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?

You sure can substitute whatever you want from this recipe out! I generally keep my recipes SUPER simple so that anyone can try it and not feel too overwhelmed!

This uses soy sauce but I can’t say for certain as I don’t use this ingredient but I have heard many people swap out soy sauce for coconut aminos! Will different change the taste though so beware!

I use brown sugar in this but if you don’t have brown sugar, you can use regular white sugar, maple syrup or honey as substitutions.

I love and will almost always use Chicken wings for this recipe however, you can do chicken thighs, breasts or even a whole chicken if you want to! You may need to adjust the sauce measurements to accommodate larger chicken pieces though!

Aside from this, I would keep everything else the same as they are pretty basic ingredients but of course, feel free to change up the measurements to your tastebuds for you to enjoy for many years to come!

WHAT DO BAKED SOY GARLIC CHICKEN WINGS TASTE LIKE?

Baked Soy Garlic Chicken Wings have a savory, umami flavor with a hint of sweetness from the honey. The soy sauce adds depth, while the garlic provides aromatic richness. Overall, they offer a delicious balance of savory and sweet flavors, complemented by a juicy exterior.

Oven-baked chicken wings are my favorite to make because you essentially just place them on a baking tray and leave them in the oven and you can set a timer then forget about it. Once the timer is up, you get your wings and they juicy and so delicious!

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?

Baked Soy Garlic Chicken Wings can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. These wings aren’t crispy as there is no added salt or oil to them but if you’d like them a little bit cripsy, you can air fry them for a few minutes or even broil them in the oven for a few minutes before taking out! Honestly, soy sauce is just an amazing ingredient and I find that eating these wings the next day is even better than the first day!

INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?

Chicken wings have ALWAYS been my favorite food! It’s always my choice of a birthday meal pretty much all my life. My mom makes the most delicious chicken wings! I often get fried chicken takeout as a treat and Korean fried chicken has been getting increasingly popular lately!

My husband and I have tried lots of different flavors of Korean fried chicken and love the soy garlic flavor so I wanted to make something that remind me of that from home! Korean fried chicken is definitely different but I just love how soy and garlic go so well together. This flavour of marinated chicken wings is so good and I can’t get enough!

ANY OTHER NOTES?

Minimally, marinate your wings for about half an hour but if you have more time, the better! I find that 2+ hours are the best!

I love the sound of these as the flavour sounds perfect for chicken. I could make these over the weekend as they don’t seem hard to do (which can typically out me off trying something). Great recipe!
