I am a huge fan of cake mix cookies! I love how easy and affordable they are and will make these for every occasion! These Grinch cookies are so cute and festive with the vibrant green and tiny heart sprinkle!

HERE IS HOW TO MAKE EASY CAKE MIX GRINCH COOKIES:

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?

You can find the ingredients to make Easy Cake Mix Grinch Cookies at most grocery stores. Here’s a list of common ingredients and where to find them:

  1. Cake Mix (Green): Look for a green-colored cake mix in the baking aisle. You can also use a regular white cake mix and add green food coloring.
  2. Eggs: Found in the dairy section.

  4. Red M&Ms,sprinkles or other red candies: These can typically be found in the candy aisle.

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients to make these super cute Grinch cake mix cookies are:

  • White/Vanilla Cake Mix
  • Green Food Colouring/Gel
  • Eggs
  • Oil
  • Red heart sprinkles

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

You don’t need too much for this recipe, all you’ll need are basic baking supplies which hopefully you already have at home! If you do want to purchase baking equipment, you can purchase some online from Amazon, at any home goods store or even the dollar store if you’re on a budget!

I will say this over and over again but cookie scoops are one of my fav tools! I use them for ice cream, cookie dough, meatballs, etc! I love how cookie scoops make everything so uniform!

Here are some of my fav Amazon kitchen and baking favs that I personally use!

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?

Honestly, this is one of the most simple recipes so there isn’t much to edit in this, however, you can of course alter these cookies to how you’d like!

I saw online some variations where the cookies were rolled in icing sugar which is so cute and gives it a snow effect! Aside from this, you can do general cookie additions like chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruits etc!

WHAT DO EASY CAKE MIX GRINCH COOKIES TASTE LIKE?

Easy Cake Mix Grinch Cookies have a delightful combination of flavors and textures. The cookies are soft and chewy, thanks to the cake mix base. The addition of green food coloring gives them a festive appearance, while the powdered sugar coating adds a sweet, powdered finish that contrasts nicely with the soft cookie texture.

The little heart sprinkle doesn’t do too much but so cute for presentation!. These cookies are not only visually appealing but also deliver a deliciously sweet treat that both kids and adults will enjoy!

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?

Easy Cake Mix Grinch Cookies can last for about 3 to 5 days when stored in an airtight container at room temperature. For longer storage, you can freeze them, and they’ll keep well for up to 2 to 3 months. Just make sure to thaw them at room temperature before enjoying!

INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?

I was brainstorming some ideas for Christmas ideas from Pinterest and saw so many variations of Grinch cookies! I knew I had to make a super easy cake mix version for people like me who loves to be festive but doesn’t have the time to go all out and put all my effort into something!

I love how cute and simple these cake mix cookies are and the best snack for watching The Grinch on a cozy winter evening!

ANY OTHER NOTES?

Yes! So, sprinkles and chocolates CAN of course melt so I would test a sprinkle in the oven first to see if it melts before putting all your sprinkles on the raw dough then baking. If your sprinkles or chocolate melt or get deformed, you can just add it on top once the cookies are done baking or you can plop them on a few minutes before the cookie is done baking!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Box Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil or neutral tasting oil of choice
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2-4 Drops Green Food Colouring the shade of green is completely to your liking!
  • 18 Red Heart Sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, add in your vanilla cake mix, oil, green food coloring and eggs and mix everything together to form cookie dough.
  • Scoop your cookies into even-sized balls then place on a baking sheet with 2 inches of space between each cookie. Add a red heart on one side in the middle of each cookie.
  • Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until cookies have light bottom/edges or to desired liking.
  • Let cool, serve and enjoy!

This Asian Sesame Vermicelli Salad is light, refreshing, and packed with flavor! Tender vermicelli noodles are tossed with crisp veggies and a savory sesame dressing for an easy, vibrant dish that’s perfect for lunches, meal prep, or summer gatherings.

INGREDIENTS
* 3 Bundles Vermicelli about 150g uncooked
* 1 Cup Purple Cabbage thinly shredded 
* 1 Cup Red Peppers thinly shredded 
* 1 Cup Carrots thinly shredded 
* 1/2 Cup Edamame
* 2 Stalks Green Onion thinly sliced 

Sauce
* 1 Clove Garlic grated
* 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
* 1 tsp Sesame Oil
* 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
* 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
* 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar

INSTRUCTIONS
* Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
* In a large bowl, combine the cooked vermicelli, cabbage, red bell pepper, carrot, edamame, and green onions.
* In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds, soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar until well combined.
* Pour the sauce over the salad and toss until evenly coated.
* Chill in the fridge before serving for extra flavor for minimally 12 hours! Enjoy!

These Poppy Seed Almond Muffins are soft, fluffy, and bursting with sweet almond flavor. With a tender crumb and delicate crunch from the poppy seeds, they’re the perfect cozy bakery-style treat for breakfast, snacking, or coffee breaks.

INGREDIENTS
* 2 1/4 Cups Flour
* 1/2 tsp Salt
* 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
* 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
* 3/4 Cup Oil 
* 1 Cup White Sugar
* 2 Eggs

* 3/4 Cup Sour Cream
* 1/4 Cup Milk
* 2 Tbsp Poppy Seeds

* In a large bowl, whisk together oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, almond extract, sour cream, and milk until smooth.
* Add flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder directly into the same bowl. Gently mix until just combined.
* Fold in the poppy seeds.
* Divide the batter evenly between the 12 muffin cups and sprinkle slivered almonds on top.
* Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

* In a bowl, add in your rice and heat it in the microwave for 1 minute. This is so it’s easier for the sugar and rice vinegar to soak in. Add in your rice vinegar and sugar and mix well.
* Next, add in the rice mixture to your baking pan in an even layer. Sprinkle furikake on top.
* Use the same bowl that you mixed up your rice in and add in your drained canned tuna, sesame oil, sriracha, and mayo and mix well.
* Add the layer of saucy tuna on your rice layer evenly on top. Sprinkle with furikake.
* Bake at 400F for 20-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
* Serve with a side of seasoned seaweed and enjoy!
