HERE IS HOW TO MAKE EASTER CAKE MIX COOKIES:

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?

You can find the ingredients for Easter Cake Mix Cookies at various locations:

  1. Grocery Stores: Visit your local grocery store for basic baking ingredients like cake mix, eggs, and oil, as well as seasonal Easter-themed sprinkles and decorations.
  2. Supermarkets: Larger supermarkets typically carry a variety of baking supplies, including cake mix in various flavors and Easter-themed decorations during the holiday season.
  3. Baking Supply Stores: Specialty baking supply stores may offer a broader selection of cake mix flavors, specialty sprinkles, and decorations specifically designed for Easter.
  4. Online Retailers: Explore online platforms for convenient delivery of specific items or if you’re looking for particular brands or unique Easter-themed decorations.

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients to make these cake mix cookies are:

  • Cake Mix (vanilla or white is good but any flavour will do!)
  • Eggs
  • Oil
  • Easter/pastel sprinkles

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

You don’t need a lot of equipment for this recipe aside from general baking supplies! You can use any mixing bowls and spatulas you have at home but all you’ll really need is some baking trays. You can use parchment paper or just grease your baking tray with a little bit of oil or butter. Ever since I started using cookie scoops, it has been a game changer! I love being able to easily scoop out cookies and make sure they are all the same size. A cookie scoop is not needed but is recommended!

Here are some of my Amazon favs:

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?

Since this recipe is super simple, there isn’t that much to substitute. I generally use olive oil for these but you can use any other neutral-tasting oil that you have on hand like canola or vegetable oil.

For the cake mix, vanilla or white cake mix is always nice to use but chocolate or lemon works very well too! You can use any kind of Easter sprinkles. Easter always reminds me of pastel colors so I chose to use pastel-colored sprinkles but you’re welcome to use more vibrant Easter sprinkles! Craft stores generally have a holiday baking section that has holiday-themed sprinkles like Michaels!

Aside from this, please feel free to add what you’d like! Creativity in recipes is always encouraged here 🙂

WHAT DO EASTER CAKE MIX COOKIES TASTE LIKE?

Easter Cake Mix Cookies offer a delightful blend of sweet flavors and a soft, cake-like texture. Depending on the cake mix flavor used, they can range from classic vanilla or chocolate to more festive options like lemon, strawberry, or funfetti. With the addition of Easter-themed sprinkles or decorations, these cookies bring a touch of celebration to every bite. Overall, they are a delicious treat that captures the essence of Easter with a burst of colorful and flavorful fun.

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?

Easter Cake Mix Cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5-7 days. For longer shelf life, you can freeze the cookies for up to 2-3 months. Just be sure to let them cool completely before storing and layer them with parchment paper to prevent sticking together.
