HERE IS HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER GREEK MEATBALLS:

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?

You can find the ingredients to make Air Fryer Greek Meatballs at your local grocery store or supermarket. Essential ingredients like ground meat, breadcrumbs, garlic, onions, fresh herbs like parsley, and a mix of Greek spices are commonly available in most stores!

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients to make these delicious Greek meatballs are:

  • Ground Meat
  • Garlic
  • Lemon
  • Greek Seasoning Mix
  • Red Onion
  • Egg
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Feta Cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

This recipe is super easy and you only really need what you already have at home! You’ll want some measuring spoons and cups, mixing bowls, a cutting board, and a knife and you can either use a spoon/spatula or just mix everything with your hands.

One kitchen tool that’s totally not needed but I personally love using is a cookie scoop for meatballs! I love that it’s super easy to scoop and every meatball is the same size. You can also just roll it with your hands or weigh each one out so it’s all even.

Aside from these, you’ll of course need an air fryer! I use the Ninja DZ401 Foodi 10 Quart! You can also just cook it over the stove or bake it in the oven if you don’t have an air fryer.

Here are some of my Amazon kitchen favs that I own!

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?

This recipe has a fair amount of ingredients so you are welcome to remove, add or substitute what you need to your dietary restrictions! Here are some suggestions that you can do to make changes to this recipe:

  • Adding some herbs like mint or dill alongside the parsley
  • Using any kind of onion doesn’t matter if it’s a red onion
  • Adding additional herbs like cumin, oregano, rosemary etc.
  • Using any kind of ground meat you prefer
  • Adding extra lemon zest on top of the lemon juice
  • Adding extra vegetables like peppers, carrots, zucchini etc.

WHAT DO AIR FRYER GREEK MEATBALLS TASTE LIKE?

Air Fryer Greek Meatballs are a delightful blend of savory, aromatic, and slightly tangy flavors. The meatballs are juicy and tender, infused with fresh herbs like parsley and seasoned with a Greek spice mix. The garlic and onions add a robust, savory depth, while the breadcrumbs help achieve a perfect, crispy exterior.

When cooked in an air fryer, these meatballs maintain their moisture while developing a lightly crispy crust, making each bite both flavorful and satisfying. The lemon and the parsley give the meatballs a nice and fresh flavour that just leaves you wanting more!

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?

Air Fryer Greek Meatballs can last for up to 3-4 days when stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. For longer storage, freeze them for up to 3 months. I love making these in batches and reheating them whenever I want a quick and easy side of protein. These also do really well in sauces too for pasta!

INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?

I’m always finding ways to make my meal prepping easier so I can have my time back everyday and meatballs are great! I’ve been loving Greek inspired flavour profiles especially for summer meals!

I love having a few meatballs aside my salads for a fresh and quick meal! These reheat very well and keeps it’s texture.

ANY OTHER NOTES?

Yes! One note would be to make all the ingredients minced as best as you can so that every meatball has an even amount of ingredients!
