HERE IS HOW TO MAKE HALLOWEEN PRETZEL BARK:

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?

You can find the ingredients to make Halloween Pretzel Bark at most local grocery stores or supermarkets. For the chocolate, pretzels, and candy toppings, check out the baking aisle, where you’ll typically find chocolate chips, melting wafers, and various candies. Specialty Halloween-themed candies and sprinkles may also be available in the seasonal section of your store, especially as the holiday approaches. Additionally, many of these ingredients can be easily purchased online from retailers like Amazon, Walmart, or Target, offering convenience if you’re looking to avoid a trip to the store.

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

The ingredients to make this delicious Halloween treat are:

  • Milk and White Chocolate
  • Halloween Sprinkles
  • Candy Corn
  • Pretzels

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

For this recipe, all you’ll really need to do is melt the chocolate! I recommend melting the chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals until the chocolate is fully melted and using parchment paper and a baking tray to make this treat! The parchment paper will make it super easy to remove the bark and having it on a flat surface will make the bark cool evenly!

Here are some of my Amazon favs for this recipe!

CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?

You sure can! I love making all sorts of different chocolate bark. I am a chocolate girl through and through and often keep chocolate in my fridge to eat whenever I’m craving a sweet treat! You can add many different ingredients to this chocolate bark such as:

  • Nuts like walnuts, pecans, pistachios or almonds
  • Seeds like flax seeds, hemp seeds, sun flower seeds or pumpkin seeds
  • Other Halloween candy like gummies or m&m’s

Here are some of my other favorite chocolate bark recipes to make!

  • Candy Cane Chocolate Bark
  • Pumpkin Spice Fall Chocolate Bark
  • Sweet and Salty Valentine’s Day Chocolate Bark

WHAT DOES HALLOWEEN PRETZEL BARK TASTE LIKE?

Halloween Pretzel Bark offers a delightful mix of sweet and salty flavors. The combination of creamy, melted chocolate with crunchy pretzels creates a satisfying texture contrast. The addition of Halloween-themed candy pieces or sprinkles adds extra sweetness and a festive touch. The result is a delicious treat that balances rich chocolate with the savory crunch of pretzels and the fun, sugary bites of seasonal candy, making it a perfect snack for the Halloween season.

Use your favorite chocolate for this recipe! I love Lindt chocolate so much and use it for almost all my barks! If Lindt isn’t available, Ghiradelli is also another one of my fav chocolates!

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?

Halloween Pretzel Bark typically lasts for about 1 to 2 weeks when stored in an airtight container at room temperature. For extended freshness, it can be refrigerated for up to a month. Honestly, chocolate barely lasts a week for me so if you’re a chocolate feen like me, you don’t need to worry about storage haha!

INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?

Every time September rolls around, I always binge watch all the spooky movies and shows! Right now, I’m re-watching The Vampire Diaries and will be watching Wednesday next! Of course, with every cozy and spooky show or movie, I have to have snacks! I’ve bee having buttery popcorn and this Halloween pretzel bark and it has been the perfect treat combination!

I love a combination of sweet and salty treat and think this is perfect to make as an annual tradition every year!

ANY OTHER NOTES?

No other notes for this one! Enjoy!
